Mysti has been cast aside all of her life. She was looked at as an abomination because of something was entirely out of her control. One of her parents was a werewolf and the other was human. In a world, where strength and power are your only means of elevation, she is looked down upon for being less than. Will that all change when she discovers her mate the night of the Flower Moon Festival? Or will her life only worsen as jealousy and prejudice reign supreme? Alpha Farris of the Elwood Pack is strong and dominating, some may say, a bit of a womanizer. He did not care too much for finding his mate, but he was not avoiding it either. All he hoped was that when he finally found her, she would be worthy of his pack. But when he finds out that his mate is the half-human mutt, an outcast in that pack, he must decide his path. Does he doe as his heart cries out for him to and take his mate, despite her deficiencies? Or does he follow the careful set of standards that his father laid out for him? Mutts are worthless. Torn between his beliefs and the will of the Moon Goddess, what will he choose? What would you choose? The respect of those around you or the other half of your soul?
