Her sweet voice and her smile lure me to chase. Her black straight hair, eyebrows, and clothes attract my feelings.

“We’re here” as she explodes to dust and appears above the lake while the dark sky exposes the moon’s light.

Under the lake, I can see clearly the rice sack. I speak to my phone, “Let’s search under this lake.”

We retrieve the aged fourteen girl, and her mother is crying. Her father, guilty of murder, child abuse, and selling of illegal drugs, shall be imprisoned.

The black woman’s fingers run onto my neck. “Another blood for me again, darling.”
