“Denis I’m heading out. You need anything else?” I called out to my boss who was in the back of the store. I waited until I heard him say that he was all set then left, locking the door behind me. The night air was cool making me shrug my coat closer to me to keep my heat from seeping out. I was just about to my car when I sensed someone following me. I turned around hoping to catch just some stranger who happened to be walking on the same street as me that would explain my odd feeling. No one was there. I heard a noise in the direction that I had been walking and my head snapped back around.
A tall dark figure stood before me. Before I even had the time react a hand clasped over my mouth. I tried fighting the attacker off to no avail. A warm breath passed by my ear and the words, “sleep.” In the next second I was falling limp into a set of arms.
