Summary

I showed up in front of my mate, heartbreaking at the sadness I could see in him because of me. I cupped his face. "Give me a little time. If Maximus will allow you to stay here for a little bit I will try hard to be the mate you deserve." I sighed. "Maximus was right, I was held in the ass-hat's cells for a long time and I am still adjusting to everything. Can you wait for me as we get to know each other?" "I'll wait for you forever if need be," he said as he brought my hand to his lips and kiss my palm. I screamed as flames surrounded my body. I didn't know what was going on and I didn't care. I tried willing my body to extinguish the fire, but the fire only got hotter and hotter. I felt as if someone grabbed my shoulder and pulled me upwards. "No!" I heard my mate scream as I disappeared from his line of sight. "I'll be back soon, my mate," I screamed, losing sight of my mate. "I'm giving you a chance. I just -" I was cut off when a woman came out of the woods, blade in hand. "Watch out!" I screamed as I threw spell after spell at her.

Chapter 1 - Witch-napped

Thank you for starting this journey with me with book five in my series. I hope you enjoy this funny, exciting, emotional book.

Happy Reading

Blaize's POV

I couldn't believe I had found my mate, my vampyre mate. I've always had a fear of vampyres and a fiery passion. I didn't know what to do when he told me he would go slow and he wouldn't turn me until I was ready. I didn't know if I would ever be ready.

I disappeared, leaving my mate to stare where I was standing. I wasn't far from him and his sad face was breaking my heart. I wanted what Kaley and Haley had, what Trace and Chase had. I wanted to be loved by my mate, to have passion in my life.

"What the hell am I suppose to do now?" My mate yelled, tears falling from his eyes.

"Calm down and give her time. She's been held in the idiot's cells for quite some time. She didn't outright reject you so she may be thinking about it right now, okay?" Maximus explained.

Can you wait for me as we get to know each other?"

"I'll wait for you forever if need be," he said as he brought my hand to his lips and kiss my palm.

"I'll be back soon, my mate!" I screamed, losing sight of my mate.

I woke up in a cell. Wait, a cell? What the fuck? I was supposed to be giving my mate a chance. I was trying to remember what happened after I asked him to stay but I was drawing a blank. I had broken the spell on me before I remembered burning flames completely covering my body. I remember screaming from my mate and me. I patted down my whole body, checking for burns I thought would be there, but I didn't even have singed hair.

Weird

Now for the cell

I sat down on the small bed and screamed as loud as I could. I wanted to know who took me and why. If they thought they had stolen a meek and mild lady they were wrong. I could hold my own. My dad made sure to train me as if I was a warrior witch. I may not have gotten back to my mass as before but I was almost there.

I kept screaming until I heard a door above me open. An old woman came down the stairs and stood by my cell. "What be ye problem?"

I sputtered. "What's my problem? Look where I'm at. I didn't ask to be here, but I damn sure will ask to leave."

"Ye are to stay here until you can behave, woman!" The old woman screamed, her hands on her hips and lips pulled back in a snarl.

I rolled my eyes at her words. I was going to be here until I behaved. "Lady, you are telling the wrong person to behave. I don't give a damn about rules and being good, I want the hell out of this cage and returned back to my family!" The woman started walking away. "Oh, no you don't." I turned her into a goat, making sure to leash her while I was at. "Now, you are going to let me out of here or I will leave as you are, do you understand?"

I released the old woman and turned her back to her human form. I cocked an eyebrow and tapped my foot on the ground. She stared at me in horror. "What be you?"

"Your worst nightmare if you don't send me back. What kind of witch are you? Who grabbed me and set me on fire?" I fired question after question at her.

"I will go and get my boss to talk to you. I wouldn't try to turn him into any animals or he will burn you where ye stand," the woman warned me as she ran up the stairs. She was pretty fast-moving for an old woman. I'm sure I scared her, but you don't tell a twenty-first-century witch to behave - it wasn't going to happen.

I heard heavy footsteps walking around upstairs. Whoever it was wasn't happy the woman came down to see me. I could hear him yelling at her and her apologizing. I didn't like men who were abusive and mean - and, I couldn't stand this man for reasons unknown to me. Call it gut intuition. He burned me, threw me in a cell, and left me here without any food or water. I heard something heavy hit the floor and heard the old woman cry out. Ooh, this man was cruisin' for a bruisin'.

The heavy footsteps from above came closer to the door I knew was above me. The door opened and I stood up and walked to the middle of the cell, a sneer on my face. He came around the corner and I lost the sneer. This man was beautiful. I mean, model-worthy, a god, but an asshole who I was checking out.

"Like what you see?" The bastard asked me as he preened.

I rolled my eyes and looked at him from his feet to his head. "I've seen better." He scoffed at my words. So, this man was conceited as well as hateful. I could fix his attitude easily.

"Why haven't you fallen in love with me already?" The bastard asked, his face a look of confusion.

I scoffed and snorted. "As I said before, I've seen better. My mate is hotter than you are, so no I haven't fallen in love with you, nor will I fall in love with an egotistical, hateful, bully like you."

He sneered at me and crossed his huge arms over his barrel chest. "Every woman falls in love with me in the first thirty seconds-"

"-Bully for you, dude, I'm not most woman and I wasn't counted in the 'every woman' category. Let me out of here. I need to see my mate and family. You had no right taking me from my home." I held up my hand when he opened his mouth. "Where the fuck am I? And, what the hell are you?"

"You can't tell?" He asked me as he came closer. "You should be able to notice your mate."

I started laughing hard. I couldn't believe the asshole was using the 'I'm your mate' card. Seriously? Even if he was another one of my mates he was not even in line. I would pick my vampyre every time over this ass. He must have thought I was dumber than a box of rocks, that I was one crayon short in a box of one.

Not likely

"I'm serious, woman! I'm your dragon mate!" He screamed, extreme heat hitting me as he did.

"Well, good for you. I'll make sure to let King Draco and Beta Dagon know of your imprisonment of me," I told him, his head whipping up to me quickly.

"You know King Draco personally? Right," he sneered.

"I know King Draco, Queen Kaley, Askook, Dagon, and their mates. I know all the elders too. Askook's mate is my sister," I told him as I looked him in the eyes. She was my sister from another mister. We bonded and I felt as if I was her sister by birth and no one could take it away from me, not even this butt-wipe.

"Why didn't you say anything? I was only playing a joke on you. I'm sorry," he spewed crap after crap. "My name is Benz, Miss Blaize."

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. Send me back or I'll find my own way home. You don't want the King and the Royal King to find me and believe me, they will find me soon." I paced the cell and waited on the idiot to figure what to do to me. I could read every look on his face. He was afraid I would tell on him - which I would - and he was worried what kind of trouble would he be in.

"I can't let you go until I get a blood oath from you." I opened my mouth to tell him to go to hell. "A blood oath you will not report me to the Kings." I thought about it and nodded my head. What the idiot didn't know was I could tell Hailey or Kaley and they would tell their mates, so naturally, I would agree as long as he burned my blood afterwords.

"I don't want a trace of my blood left. I don't trust you and I can't let just anyone have a drop of my blood, understand?" I explained as I walked close to the cell bars. I wasn't stupid enough to touch the bars laced with a root to take a witch's power. She thought I was stupid and didn't know who she was.

Wrong

There would be no blood oath, none at all. "The kid witch has me!" I screamed in my mind. I knew I couldn't take away her spell by myself. My whole family showed up behind the kid and tried to grab her. Notice I said tried? Yeah, the little witch took off quickly.

"She's not spelled, Blaize. She wants to be evil. Let's get you out of the cell," King Draco informed me, my breath leaving my body. I thought she was spelled to do evil. I was glad my family showed up but now I was worried about all of us. This witch was powerful, powerful enough to change shapes.

Kaley's children showed up with the key to the cell. "We healed the woman upstairs. She was spelled to help a big man," he informed us.

"Yeah, the big man is the kid. She is a shapeshifter, witch, and something else. She is very powerful. She tried to glamour me but I saw threw it when she asked for a blood oath. I could see through the glamor when she let it slip," I explained, looking around for my mate.

"Your mate was with us when he was called away by Maximus. He put up a fight to stay, but their castle had been attacked when they were helping us find you," the Royal King Sonny explained as he walked closer.

"He fought a command?" Sonny nodded. "Do you think this was a coordinated fight?" I asked as the kids found the key to let me out. I didn't know why they didn't break the spell and open the door with their mind."

"Dang it! I knew we were being dumb, but I wanted to get Blaize out of the cell quickly," Adonis complained, making all of us laugh at him. His ears were beet red.

"Don't worry about it, Adonis. We were all making mistakes in finding Blaize. I forgot about the mind-link, so you have nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about," Kaley informed him as she walked over to him and kissed his forehead.

"Yay! I get to keep all of you and take over both kingdoms," a voice sounded from behind us.

Well, shit!

We were too tired to pay attention to our surroundings. We made it too easy for someone to play us. I saw Windy one minute and the next she was gone and I could see Summer. Oh, Goddess, we were about to be this crazy girl's hostage - something none of us wanted.

I felt air across my back but didn't look. I didn't want to look and see what kind of monster was behind me. I had already watched a number of dumb girls looking at their attacker and not having enough time to scream and run. I wasn't going to be one of those girls.

I turned and swiped my foot at whoever was behind me, but they were gone. I couldn't see anyone who had spoken to me. There was no one behind me or around me. I wanted a good look at my executioner. If I as the only one alive then I would have to get my hands dirty.

"Miss me?" I heard ask someone ask from behind me. I stood completely still when I heard the voice....
