Out of the corner of my eye...a spinning sonic boom arrested my attention.
And then it was gone...
Three monstrous Redwoods began to fall towards the earth, in my direction. The sonic booms, three huge sparkles of light, zapped towards me as a woman holding her womb ran along the sophisticated rows of centuries-old wood. Thick branches supported her glistening feet. Her agility rendered me speechless. Looking down at me, scowling, she jumped a few feet in the air, and swung from another branch, like a gymnast, and dropped before me, hissing. Ђe dead bodies of the ground spake together with a zooming sound I couldn’t make out. Ђe pregnant vampire/human sprinted towards me so fast all I saw was the male ghost, of which one of the dead bodies belongeth, and it was then I realized that he was trying to use my powerful body as a guise, to fulfill his purpose so his spirit can rest, not too far from the realm of the lions.
Rain began to fall, and quickly turned into blood; blood fell towards me, and everything in between, and everything round about, truly a marvelous sight, the skies raining not water but blood--life. Plants grew even darker, and the leaves of thousands of trees beamed under the moonlight. And then the rain stopped. The smell of blood mixed with wet earth mystified me beyond understanding. The thunderous waterfall a few feet away, behind me, filled my ears and crickets chirped in unison. Spellbound, I looked around, trying to find Ђe Pregnant One with the Forbidden Unborn, so I can eradicate her, and sacrifice the child to the ancients, even though I didn’t believe in mysticism.
A rainbow began to form, as it dawned on me that the sun was rising, and the sun rays, slowly, inevitably, gradually, began to erase the darkness, inch by inch, and at that rate.
I began to tremble at the thought of those rays finding my skin, turning me to flames, and then to dust, from where I was created, and from where I came…
I never saw a rainbow after the rain of blood; only after it rained with water, and from the shadows and heavily shaded areas. So dark was the shade of darkness that it doesn’t allow an ounce of light to shine through. Those art the shades I used to remain idle during the day, when I wasn’t resting, when I didn’t feel the needeth to hibernate, or get any sleep…
If the rainbow was that beautiful during a sun rise, after the rain of blood, spreading life amongst living organisms, giving them sustenance to evolve and expand, then I wondered how beautiful the rainbow was at night, under the moonlight. Ђat’s the only way ye can appreciate the true beauty of it, a rainbow, a blood bow I should say, since it formed after earth bled all over me, and everything over yonder, and roundabout.
My eyes averted to the huge spot of blood, where the pregnant woman hemorrhaged, the vampire breaking all supernatural law, a rebel with a cause, and unfortunately I didn’t know what that cause was.
Begrudgingly, one of the dead bodies spake to me with fierce finality and I couldn’t ignore the voice; the way it filled my ears and catapulted me to a deeper understanding of what I faced was breathtaking, yet for the life in me I couldn’t make out the muffled sounds…
What I was seeing, what was unfolding before my very eyes, the big picture giving me wisdom, facts and knowledge opened a new dilemma in my centuries-old life.
As I knew, the treaty hath been broken.
Or maybe I was interested in the soil itself, the dirt of the meadow, stained with the blood of a woman, a vampire, and an unborn child, a healthy baby boy from what the truth of the smell of blood reveals to me. Confusedly, I close my eyes and my naivety plays on my closed lids, basking in the darkness, wondering where Ђe Pregnant Vampire ran off to?
Hath she left this realm, to protect her baby? Will she attack me while I sit here meditating, thinking to myself, trying to form pictures on my closed lids of how this boy was going to look?
Would he have long hair of a lion’s mane, cat eyes mixed with wolf, and the agility and the body of a vampire? Would he have skin of granite, hard yet warm to the touch, or cold and sinister, and ice cold to the touch, causing frostbite when in contact with human skin.
What would he look like? Would he have the face of a an angel, or the body of a demigod? It fascinated me! Ђe bloody dirt in the meadow that is, of the Grand Forest to be precise. I know if the lions find out that the mysterious vampire with no name was secretly carrying a strain of their bloodline they will search high and low and destroy her.
If the Wolves find out about this uncanny act of rebellion and treason they will do the same. Consequently, they will try to kill off the lions in an imposing war, if they ever mated with a human or vampire.
The Wolves were under strict instruction from the vampires to kill them at will, eliminate them to the point of extinction, and I had to make sure they knew, and the lions knew, so both sides prepare for war, if it gets to that point?
Or shalt I keep my mouth closed with this information?
§omething slammed into my granite body, and the earth shook, but I didn’t move an inch as I opened my eyes, and a ghost zoomed past Ђe Pregnant Vampire, slapping her across the face, and plummeted towards me, his arms outstretched, baring his fangs...
He slammed into my body again...
