Some say you are the master of your own destiny. That you choose the path your life will run. You may very well believe that. But those who have struggled against their fate, fought to escape the path on which they have been set, know better.
The Parcae, the Moirae, the Norns, or the Fates. Whatever mythologies you choose to follow, they all say the same thing. They control the metaphorical threads of life for every mortal and immortal from birth to death. Fight against fate all you want, it will prevail every time.
