The Gaea Chronicles : Hajimari

My name is Shinonome Sona, a normal high school boy although my name is a girl's name. As I begin my second-year school lives here in Japan everyone boys always look at me I'm good-looking, I have good grades, girls surrounds me. I also came from a well-known family everyone wants to be like me. I always felt that this world is boring somehow there is nothing to do here and there I was on the rooftop of my school just looking at the sky and then I heard the school chime so I went back to my classroom .After school, I went down my usual street to my house. As I walk I saw a silver haired girl her hair was tied in two pigtails with the rest of her hair to her waist . She was surrounded by guys but she stayed quiet

"Come on why don't you join us" a guy came forward and hold her shoulder.

"Could you please get your hand of her?" I walk close to them.

They turn back and look at me,

"What do you want kid ?, can you see that we have something here now go!" said a guy while threatening me with a knife .

I grab his hand that is holding knife

"What are you doing let my hand go"

He raised his hand and about to hit me but I catch his fist and throw him to the wall .I forgot to tell you didn't I somehow I got some super power for example super strength .I beat up the other guys easily .

"What's with him ?! screw this!" they run.

"You're ok?"

She looks at me with her jewel-like eye the right eye is blue and the left is red then she said

"Have you ever think that this world is boring?"

Her words surprised me because it's like she was looking right through me.

"How did you ..." before I finish saying it,

"Because I have chosen you to be in my clan, so what do you say?" she smiled.

To be honest I'm interested since I felt this world have nothing to offer to me anymore so I look at her

"Who are you really?"

"Shouldn't you introduce your self first before other people tell their name?"

"Ok I get it , I'm Shinonome Sona"

She giggled "Sona ?, is that a girl's name ?"

"Don't laugh, what can I do my parents give me that name" I sigh.

"Sorry, I can't help it. then nice to meet you, I'm Thanatos the greek god of death"

I stared at her because I don't belive her that she was the God of death.

"What ?, why are you staring?"

"I don't belive you for a start you don't even like a god of death more like a normal sixteen-year-old".

She pouted

"then why don't you see this ?".

she steps a bit back then a black mist surrounds her then as the mist start to disperse I saw her in a black robe with a katana on each hand and it was flowing with those black mist. her eyes were glowing when I see her it was like staring into an abyss then she turn back to her form before this.

"I see , but still..." I still doubted her but then again this world isn't interesting and I'm willing to sacrifice my guaranteed future .

"If you come with me I can show more" she extended her hand to me.

"then tell me something if I come with you will it be something interesting there ?"

"I guarantee, you'll have the greatest time of your life and you won't regret it" she smiled

"Then let me get some things for the travel"

"Be my guest"

Then I go to my apartment with Thanatos behind me .My apartment is the tallest building in the middle of the city.

"Is this your place ?" she ask me with an amazed face

"Yeah in the top floor"

We enter the building and went in the lift and go to the top floor .We enter my room and she goes all excited and went to check the things in my room like she hasn't seen tv and stuff then her stomach growls while I in my bedroom preparing my things .

"Hei Sona, I'm hungry" shout Thanatos from the living room

"Go get something in the fridge if you want food," I shout from the bedroom.

In the living room, Thanatos don't know what is a fridge so she searches and looks in the living room.

"I can't find it!" shout Thanatos from the living room.

I have finished packing my things so I go out to the living room and I couldn't belive my eyes that my room was a wreck.

I stare at Thanatos

"What's with this mess?"

"What's a fridge and where is it?" she tilted her head while asking it

I knew it she didn't know it so I just sigh.

"Here come ,I'll make some food before we go follow me".

We walk to the kitchen and I make some food with the ingredients from the fridge .I make some fried chicken and for dessert, I take an ice cream from the freezer

"Eat up" I place the food in front of her and then she eat it up.

"Oishii (delicious)" she said it while her mouth is full.

"Don't talk while you eat" I just smiled because she is a goddess but she acts like a normal girl .

"You're not going to eat Sona?" ask Thanatos.

"Nah, I'm full besides you still got a dessert" I showed her the ice cream .

"Oh! give it to me".

I give her the ice cream and a spoon to eat it and she instantly takes it from my hand .She eats it too fast and she gets brain freeze

"Agh!, my head hurts!" said Thanatos while holding her head.

"Don't eat it too fast it'll give you brain freeze" I laugh

"Why don't you tell me before?" she lifts her head from the table

"I thought it would be interesting".

"Mou!" she pouted.

"Sorry ,I just can't help it".

She continues to eat .After she finishes eating the ice cream, she stands up and asks me

"Are you done with your preparation?"

"Yep, all of my stuff are in here" I show her my bag.

"Then let's get started"
