An Introduction (sort of)

Dear reader,

Steve Jobs once said, “Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith.” Most of the time I can agree with that statement, but when life almost hits you with a literal brick that philosophy starts to waver. To anyone out there who nearly has had anything almost fall on their head whether it be a brick, a whole bunch of shoe boxes, a car, a chandelier or any other object that could fall on your head. Thank your Guardian Angel, they’re the reason it didn’t.

No matter whose reading please look up and thank your Angel. Also, before anyone gets their panties in a bunch I feel like I should address the fact that I’m not talking about any religion right now. You may have whatever belief system you want but whatever I say doesn’t pertain to any of them. Your angel does so much and most people don’t even know it. Ever forgotten to set your alarm but woke up anyway? Thank your angel. Ever dozed off while driving only to jerk awake at a just the right time? Angel again. Have you ever had someone run up behind you because you’ve dropped something? Most likely your angel or just an angelic citizen. Ever had your life saved from child-like monsters who are trying to kill you and drag your soul to what is essentially hell? You should probably thank your angel anyway cause you never notice when they do that.

I promise all this will make sense eventually. Before you read however I would really like you to thank your angel. Cause right now mines reading this over my shoulder making sure I tell people to thank their angels. Welcome to the world that’s right in front of our eyes but humans just can’t see it. Well, I can, but that’s the story you’re about to read so I won’t spoil it.

With Love,

Skylar Pierce

mray2174: I did like this story. I would totally recommend it to a friend, but it didn't seem like a book.
