Prologue
The moonlight dimmed, and Kyle came to the scene almost breathless. He had run as fast as he could, but the opening ceremony was over.
- You're too late, Kyle. Your girlfriend's initiation is complete. She's a creature of the night now.
Kyle dropped to his knees and stared blankly at what was happening before his eyes. Alyssa, the girl he had been in love with for years and with whom he had shared his strongest feelings, was now one of them. A creature of the night that consumes human blood.
Kyle approached Alyssa with her back to him and touched her shoulder slowly as if she were a porcelain doll. Alyssa turned almost robotically to Kyle. Her eyes were changed. Their color had changed from an intense emerald green to a dark color, almost unrecognizable ...
- Oh, good Kyle!
Kyle didn't know what to do. He wanted to hug his girlfriend, but the girl in front of him wasn't her.
"Alyssa ... what happened to you?" Kyle's voice cracked slowly as he spoke.
- What do you mean, honey? Is something wrong with me?
Kyle wanted to get away from her, but Alyssa got up and grabbed him by the collar, pushing Kyle away into the dark forest.
- Alyssa, it's time to make an important decision. Will you drink the blood of your boyfriend Kyle or not?
- I don't want to hurt him! Alyssa replied.
"You won't hurt him if you stop in time, but make sure you don't change him." We need him in human form.
Alyssa knew that her boyfriend Kyle was by no means just human. It was so much more. He knew things and saw things that no one else had ever discovered or seen. He knew perfectly well the alchemy, black magic, incantations and other things that could save him from any situation.
- I'll take care.
The redhead smiled and, using her new inhuman power, reached Kyle, who was lying on the cold ground in the woods. She knew he wasn't going to die because he could feel her pulse, and more importantly, she could feel his blood running through his veins.
With his last push, Kyle cat a brief spell, creating a force field around Alyssa and fainted immediately unable to get up.
Now she couldn't hurt him. It was too late to save her from initiation, but could she bring old Alyssa back? It remained to be seen.
- Kyle ...
Alyssa came out of temporary hypnosis and lifted Kyle up from a tree.
