Valentine Winters P.O.V
I was in school and you could voice that I’m well liked owing to the fact that I was entitled Alpha Female by blood. Everyone was wishing me Happy Birthday. Finally, I turned sixteen. I always take a fancy to find my mate, see how is it to be snuggled up comfortably secured in his warm embrace and to lean on his everlasting arms.
Your mate is someone that will be there for you on every occasion. Someone who would risk his own life to keep you from harm, take care of you in this whole world. Who’ll always be there just for you.
My friends informed me how they’ll be, over protective and over possessive of them over anything.
I come to have friends but not only the durable ones such as betas and deltas, I’m also friends with omegas, zeta’s and epsilons. I hate to see ranks.
For the night, my affectionate and nurturing father named Nathaniel was determine to held and organise this huge party for me. He was the current alpha of this pack named Loupe Lycan.
I was exceedingly exhilarated for this party because everyone would be there and I wish that I’ll find my mate.
During the social function, I was ordered to have a dance with every eligible male present resulting for my feet to hurt. Literally, might I adjoin.
“Umm, I uh just need a pause for a moment, my apologies.” I apologised to the contemporary male I was dancing with. He just smiled and planted a tender kiss on the back of my hand making my cheeks turn scarlet.
I proceed outside the pack house. “Hey, going somewhere?” One of my friend named Zoe enquired.
“Just need some fresh air. Don’t fret.” I notified. She nodded and aware me to be vigilant.
It’s typical and common for werewolves to stroll in the woods. It just appeared to be a routine for us. I was wearing an alluring lengthy dress, a red one at that. Black, red and white are my all time favourite colours.
I advanced deeper into the woods feeling the cool breeze attacking my flesh making my dress and hair flow behind me. I took off my stiletto heels, feeling the mud on my bare feet. I’m not the girl who would be repulsed to come into contact with mud or the girly category. I’m a fighter.
I’m a great distance from being a prep. Standardly, I’d be prone to be dressed in all black attire and black skinny jeans however this particular day I wore an enormous dress, my female siblings including my parents enforced me to. They were like, you’re a female child , do you desire your mate to think he’s mate is a man ?
I giggled at that conception. Perceiving how would his expression be being a straight guy also having a guy for a mate and be in possession of becoming homosexual. He would probably cry.
I continued to the waterfall stream where I would invariably extend there whenever I’m unhappy, contented or vexed. This is where I would think regarding the whole lot. I settle down resting on the green healthy meadow feeling the grass with my palm.
I glanced up to the stars and moon. Counting the stars and failing miserably. The stratosphere was a dark shade of blue. I closed my organ of sight. Unwinding and exhaled.
My tranquil moment was minuscule when I overhear a crack of a twig. I was instantly attentive to my surrounding as so was my wolf inside me. I observed whatever was going on.
Whiffing, hearing, feeling and perceiving all at the same minute. Just as I smelt it, I felt a searing agony like an injection jabbed inside of me and drift out.
“Sir, we had captured a female werewolf.” I heard one of the man inform.
“Good, bring her to me and alive.” I ordered.
I abominate werewolves so as my father.
View of the fact that because of their species my mother died. I never had a chance to even look at her. She depart this life giving childbirth to me. I never had a clasp to one’s bosom to be beside my mother looking into my eyes or feeding me.
I had assassinated many werewolves that I couldn’t even keep count of, especially the ones prowling around called as rogues. They are just for one thing which is blood lust from both humans and werewolves. They go for the effortless target manifestly which are the humans, anthropoids.
I’m the pre-eminent here because of my gene, I’m a half-
“Sir, here she is.” They brought an unconscious girl inside conceivably around 16 years old.
“Tie her to that chair.” I instructed and without hesitation they immediately obeyed me tying her up using sterling silver chains where werewolves have no sturdiness to brawl or shatter it.
Something within me didn’t have an inclination for the girl to get hurt even a small-scale scratch but shook it off.
I neared towards her and tilted her chin up using my thumb and index finger. She was smashing, I’d compliment that with her considerable length dark brown hair, thick eyelashes, perfect nose and perfect luscious lips that would feel so good on my-.
No! Snap out of it, what’s wrong with you ?
“My, another one and a girl for that matter, isn’t this sensational ?” My father beamed coming inside and surveying her.
“Cut her dress till it reaches her knees, it’s unreasonably wearisome and vast.” My dad directed and the men launched into cutting it at once. I felt displeasure granting them to cut her dress, allowing them touch her. I felt like I was the only one permitted to have skin contact and not them.
What’s into me ? I think I should kill the girl sooner than I thought for making me feel this way.
OpheliaJones: This story took a different kind of spin on the "normal girl lives with definitely not normal guy" plot. The plot points of Frey's father, Liam's family, and Frey's view of Liam's world were good to read. She did not fall in love with him in the first couple weeks. Their lives were not smooth in ...
maewilde25: I liked this, though it dragged on for over 200pages and heaven knows I did not expect the plot twist in the middle. David being Cristiãn. I was wondering when he would show up and didn't know he was there all along. it looks like there should be a sequel, please let there be a sequel. I know the...

Giuliana Cassetta: My face is full of tears, I never cried like now with a book or even a movie. I loved every single chapter. I truly don't know what to say, I'm out of words and my eyes hurt from crying. Such an bittersweet story, it's so wonderful. One of my favorites for sure. Keep it up!
Alex Rushmer: Chapter One: Not much is happening in this chapter, but I was absolutely fascinated by the depth of your character development. I love how you just sat there with the reader and explored Eddward. Usually, that sort of thing gets boring very fast, but this was actually really cool! He's so unique ...
Jason Phang: More, I want MORE! Your stories are keeping me from games and (gasp) even sleep! Each chapter brought fresh hooks that I willingly wolfed down (pun intended) and I just couldn't bear going to sleep not knowing what happens next to Lindsay and Wayne. I also loved how the epilogue was done. Excelle...
Jennifer Sibley Jannise: So, I originally read the book because my daughter asked me to. However, I read it in 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is well written and thought out. If the author writes and publishes any more books, I would definitely read them.
zoheusher20: What more can I say? The writing style and little details drew me into the book and for the entirety of the story I was Juliet. I felt her turmoil and emotions and every trouble or triumph as they arrived. This story was very different and had quite a few little but unexpected twists that made it...
JONANNA: As an avid reader it is not often I say that about a book. The plot is what was different and the twists where unexpected. This book is defiantly a page turner and enjoyable read. I can't wait to reread this novel after a little editing to finish off the shine on this wonderful novel.
kwilliams: I am an avid reader, and I do mean AVID and few indie authors capture my attention the way you have. I absolutely fell in love with these characters and their story. Sandra Estrada: I loved every minute of it and I thank my lucky stars that brought me to the story, it's been a whirlwind of emotions, plot twist after plot twist but I never got tired of them.
