~ Chapter 1 ~

Just... Imagine……

You're sitting in a presentation that the queen is hosting. You’re 18 years old and your name is Désirée Césaire, a princess soon becoming a queen for your royal kingdom in only a short span of time. You get to feeling a bit nervous and uneasy as if you are about to barf right then and there! Your friend, Leilani, sitting next to you, sees you and identifies your feelings, knowing you’re nervous. She attempts to talk to you try to make you in any way feel at least a bit better. She’d then lean over, continuing her actions by saying "H-Hey, Désirée.." She’d stumble over her words, figuring out what to say next. "I can tell you were feeling upset. Do you think I can… Find any way to cheer you up?" "No, I’m fine, just a little uneasy, that’s all. I’ll get over it, soon." You respond, drifting towards an upset monotone voice while grasping a small piece of your long, wavy hair in your hand, twirling it on your finger, staring at the floor out of anxiousness. "Hmm… I guess there’s nothing I can do.. Oh, wait! I have an idea!" She’d exclaim with excitement and happiness. The look in her eyes just shouted.. Starstruck!"How about a fun round of... Ticklebug!!" She then started tickling you until you were crying laughing. Ticklebug was your favorite game as a child and to this day, it still is. It is a very nostalgic game, it brings you back to precious and fun moments with your mother and father, they’d tickle you continuously while you would be rolling around on the floor in your pink, glittery princess gown laughing as hard as you possibly could. When you didn't realize, the presentation had begun. "Welcome, young kings and queens! How are we all today, Are all of us feeling amazing as usual?" The queen attempts to appear happy and awake saying these 2 sentences, though it's clear she hadn't gotten enough sleep, due to taking care of the newborn princess for their kingdom. You just can't quite seem to remember the name of their kingdom. Oh, well, I guess. You're feeling very sleepy, Even though you brush it off, you can't stop dozing off every now and then, waking up to a surprise, them almost falling directly out of your chair to hit the floor face-first. Even though you'd fallen out of your chair one too many times, you still looked good doing it. Your beautiful Cinderella inspired type gown was flowy and sparkling. Your gown would glow in the moonlight and sparkle in the sunlight. It was anything you could ever dream of, exactly like a dream come true, although it's been true this whole time, it's still entertaining. You woke up to a bunch of people staring at you. You'd scream, startled by all of the eyes just... Staring directly at you with absolutely nothing better to do than... Well, stare. The eyes had stopped staring and looked back up at the queen. You hadn't realized that you had fallen asleep but you can't help but just fall asleep one... more... tim-... And BAM! Just like the snap of a finger, you're out like a light! I guess you really were tired after all.

Bravo a l'auteur j'adore votre travail.

Selina: Das Buch ist sehr spannend und auch schön geschrieben. Ich finde gut das es aus vielen Sichten geschrieben ist.

Kim Mahaffey: I loved it! There were times I laughed until I cried. Definitely will read more from this author

gruenwedelchristin: The story is compelling to read and keeps the reader drawn to the plot . The characters are well written and they have a draw to them to keep the reader wanting to read more . The females are bad ass too .

Ingrid: Slight twist to the usual rejection plot which is good. However, linear in the 'world building' with too little to flesh out the narrative. Author has a great sense of humour with the characters. Would benefit having a proof reader going over the script.'

Leslie Suttles: Sweet love story. Was slightly disappointing that the only sexual encounter prompted was the SA and nothing showing she was able to move past it

ina: Die Bücher sind einfach nur klasse

ina: Auch das 2. Buch ist fantastisch geschrieben
