The Darkside

I have been in what you would say dead for over a thousand years or more and the knowledge gained since I have crossed over into the spirit world has been immense, I wonder so many times why I stayed for so long in such a limited condition which the physical world suffers. There is so much more to be accomplished and the things happen so much more quickly in my current state, for me to describe this to you would be very foreign to your nature.

Physical beings are silly creatures before they reach the spirit world with arrogance of knowledge which is really nothing compared to what I know now; the knowledge here is still learned in a different capacity. They have no idea the games we spirits play with them while they are playing with toys and doing things they do not understand because if they knew what happens to them when they pass over to the spirit world things would be very different. Humans say they are interested in spirits, the truth is they are scared of us because of the unknown and if they knew what we could do, they would not allow us so much control over them. So many times, people are put in a situation where they do not want to be present, so I will step in their place. No one knows even the one I do this with does not even understand what is happening. That is why the memory of a human can be very poor because when they step out of their body to allow me to step in I can do anything I want and when I leave the human has no recollection of what I have done.

It is unfortunate that my sorry sod of a human has passed away today through the disease of the drink that damages their brain and also enhances their will to die. He literally drank himself to death. I am on the hunt for another human I can attach myself to for as long as their physical body lasts.

A woman walks by and looks right at me with such rage, most vile creatures I could never occupy that gender no matter what I feel coming from the entity. I am shopping for a new home and the choices seem like slim pickings at the moment.

The perfect one has come into view because I can feel the emotions of hate and the fear to act on these feelings is holding back, I can help him along and in return I will experience what he experiences. The world may be full of low life people, every once in a while there is a gem and you hit the jackpot.

I approach the man to enhance the rage he is feeling towards his wife and children and I learn that he has lost his job two days ago which has him in a plummeted state. I can feel from him that he wants to end everything, the life of his wife and children, as well as his own. If he leaves them they will have nothing and he feels they are will be better off not living if he cannot provide for them.

I put the thought in his mind that he should go home. He gets up and thinks that the thought he should go home came from him, this is so easy. Continuing to put thoughts in his head about the fun things he can do when he gets home. The rage he feels towards his wife is heightening to a dangerous level. As soon as he walks into the house he screams, "Myra! Myra! Come down here right now!"

Jumping up out of bed and through on her housecoat she rushes out of the bedroom, down the stairs and says, "Cal, this needs to stop. You will wake the children. You look a fright, now come with me to bed."

Myra tries pulling Cal up off the floor and of course his six foot solid frame is too much for her to move him. In frustration, he slurs, "Get off me woman!" He puts his hand in his back pocket and pulls out a gun. He points it at Myra and yells, "I am in charge here and you will listen to me." He gets up on his knees and says, "Upstairs you will..." He passes out cold on the floor and does not get to finish his sentence. Myra is quick to take the gun from him, empty the chamber and tosses the dreadful thing outside, hoping that her husband will not find it again.

Such a shame this is the result of too much of the drink which these humans are so found of, they have no idea that drinking themselves to oblivion will snatch their will out from under them. There was so much potential for lots of fun here in this household.

Wandering down the street towards the bridge there is an interesting situation. Manipulating the mind of the pathetic sod sitting on the ledge and crying. He has lost his love who he believes is his soul mate which has lead him to lose his sense of self, he does not want to live anymore. As I get closer a plan forms inside my mind which I send to his, Marcus who lifts his head up in thought and believes the thoughts in his head are his. Such a silly human who cannot tell the difference between their thoughts and those of someone else, such low level education in this Human species. It is so much fun when the Human does not realize their thoughts are not their own.

Marcus decides to get up off the ledge and walks away from the bridge towards his soul mate's house just down the road. Over and over again he mutters to himself, "Gretta is the love of my life and I will not let her go."

He approaches her house and walks to the front door and knocks, than waits. She does not rush to the door to greet him and this will not do. As Marcus turns around to leave, he remembers something is in his pocket. He puts his left hand in and pulls out a key, the key to Gretta's house he forgot he still had in his possession. Walking through the front door he walks in the dark up the stairs toward Gretta's bedroom. Opening the door and letting himself in he says, "Love, I am home to be with you."

In a sleepy response, Gretta mumbles, "Marcus, I already told you earlier that we are done. We have already had this discussion for days now and I am tired of having it over and over again."

"You do not really mean it. I still have your key that must mean something."

"All that means is you did not give me back my key when you left here earlier today. You must leave now or I will..."

Marcus grabs Gretta by the arm and shoves his face in hers and snarls, "Or you will what? What are you going to do?"

With Gretta's other hand she is attempting to get her cell phone off the dresser unsuccessfully. Looking back at Marcus with a look of defiance, "I will call the police."

Marcus lets Gretta go and starts pacing in front of her bed. There are so many voices in his head at this moment that he feels like his head will burst. He bursts out, "No. No. No. No. No. I love you Gretta and we belong together, forever."

Marcus approaches Gretta with a knife he pulls out of his back pocket and she uses this opportunity to pull her gun out from under her pillow. She started keeping a gun with her at night after the first physical fight they had three months ago when Marcus beat her with a baseball bat. One has a knife the other gun who is the victor in this standoff?

Gretta screams at Marcus, "I said, get out of my house!"

Marcus responds taking a few more steps closer to Gretta and says, "We love each other. You are not going to shoot me. You are not going to shoot me." Marcus proceeds to get closer and when his chest reaches the end of the black barrel he says again, "You are not going to shoot me because if you were, you would have done it..."

This moment will be forever ingrained in Gretta memory forever. She does not even remember pulling the trigger or even thinking about it. All that is there is the look of shock and Marcus's eyes went huge and this great sadness just masked his face. He fell on top of Gretta with a pool of his blood spreading everywhere, there is so much blood in one Human.

I watched on, this episode of a modern day Romeo and Juliet and the understanding of how the events led up to outcome is so clear to me and funny how the result is so unclear to these Humans. They do not realize the pain and suffering they cause themselves which is due to the feelings they have about the people and things in their life. For example, in this situation Gretta the female has lots of built up rage about the male gender and Marcus the male has lots of built up rage about the female gender. When these two get together they have the perfect emotional condition to attract violence in their relationship, neither one does not want to admit anything of the sort and will more than likely live in denial about it for most if not all their lives.

Strange thing these Humans say they want the violence and the wars to stop and they cannot stop the violence and the wars within themselves, interesting thought there. Stop the violence within themselves and then stop the violence in the world around them. An interesting experiment to consider, now to find some willing victim to test this out on.
