Dark Spawn

In a far away place where all light fades to darkness. A place full of dangerous creatures that seek your death. A place where vampires, werewolves, witches, banshees, bigfoots, and many other creatures dwell lurking in the dark shadows of the woods. This place has never known the light of day only darkness is ever known. The shadows here whisper and move darting across the dark streets. This place is where nightmares come alive. Welcome to Dark Spawn. A town full of horrors that lurk in the darkness thats all around. There is no light anywhere in town only the pure darkness fills the town. You can smell the dread and fear. You can hear the screams of terror filling the air.

Dark Spawn is a town born long ago during a time long before ours. It all began in the year 1800. The world was growing fast cities were being built from small beautiful towns. It seemed harmless everyone let the towns change into cities but the price was the loss of the woods many creatures called home. Creatures such as bigfoot lived in the woods that the greedy men and women destroyed. Thats when the darkness began to consume the only small town that was left the town known as Dark Spawn. People didnt notice it at first but as time past the darkness grew and more eyes could be seen in the woods watching the city folk as their fears grew. The mayor of the city knew it was his fault the darkness was overtaking the small town and slowly nearing the city of Brightwood. Brightwood was all happiness and sunshine but that was going to change. Everyday the darkness grew closer and so did the many creatures that lived in Dark Spawn Woods. The fur of the bigfoots could be seen in the fog. You knew it was a bigfoot by the glowing green eyes and the long blackish fur that covered its body.

The sighting of bigfoots brought fear into the hearts of all who lived within the city. You could hear the bigfoots making noises of glee as they struck fear in the cities population. You could smell the fear as it poured off the people. Their eyes open wide with fright as they saw the creatures shift in the darkness. Things only got worse by the 1900s the town of Dark Spawn was completely overtaken by the darkness. Even harmless shadows now came to life shifting throughout the darkness. You could see them shifting around the buildings in the beautifully dark little town of Dark Spawn. Even the dragonflys knew better than to enter the darkness it was the land of shadows.

It took years of fear for the city to be demolished and moved but Dark Spawn still stood tall covered in pure darkness daring people to enter. Legends say if you enter the darkness you will be lost and only your screams will be heard filling the air. Many say if you hear the screams of terror its the lost souls of the people who entered Dark Spawn. No one has ever entered the town and lived to tell about it. Anyone who enters just disappears but its unknown where they disappear to. Sometimes bones are found but they are chewed and charred. You can tell who or what the bones might belong to but its a mystery that no one can slove. Yet i aim to try to solve the mystery and find the cause of the darkness.

I feel the darkness surround my body as i enter Dark Spawn. The energy here is dark and sinister. Suddenly from the far left of the darkness i hear a woman talking. I head that direction to find a beautiful pale woman in a long silk black dress that touches the ground. Her hair is jet black and long it flows to the middle of her back. As she moves her hands her long blood red nails gleam in the moonlight through the fog. I see her eyes as she walks away the blue eyes gleaming in the darkness. I know she is alive but i still have no idea who she was talking to. Her lips are a beautiful red like her nails. Shes strange yet beautiful i now seek to solve the mystery even more than ever.

I followed her through the fog as if i was in a trance. Her beauty so enchanting that it mesmerized me. I felt lost in a fog as i followed her. When i came out of the fog i saw her standing in front of me. Her blue eyes full of sorrow staring straight at me. I stepped forward to her and told her, " it's ok I'm not here to hurt you. I am here to find out whats going on here and help anyone who needs help."

She stared at me and in a beautiful heavenly voice she told me, " I know the story of this place I was born here. This is my home. Sir honestly I haven't ever seen the daylight. I only know the shadows and fog. This place is full of lost souls that cry and scream in terror. This town is a town of nightmares."

In confusion I asked, "What do you mean this town is a town of nightmares?" I could hear the sadness in her voice as she told me, "This town makes your fears real but only long enough for the creature to trap your soul. The creature is very ancient. It came from the forest one day and killed everyone. I was only spared because I am immortal. The creature knows I have magic. He has me capture the souls in jars. You will be forced to join the lost souls if the beast finds you. He has many forms and controls many creatures. I been forced for 50,000 years ago to capture souls. I want freedom from this creature." Tears were streaming down her face. I knew that's why her eyes were so sad. As I saw the tears run down her face my heart ached for her suffering. I felt my heart tearing out of my chest all I could do was hold her telling her, "Your leaving with me. Your pain ends now."

I grabbed her and lead her outside the town and suddenly the darkness disappeared leaving Dark Spawn full of light and the darkness was gone forever. All the souls were now free and evil no longer held the small town of Dark Spawn.
