Motif

Tell me little white, why are you so calm?

I am fine, my other, just finding its charm.

Man's?

You see, i find no greater horror than humanity. I dont know when it was decided that the term "humanity" represented something good, merciful, thoughtful, kind and what not.

History says they are stupid and violent, nature says they are destructive and relentless, life says they are the world's demise. It is why we are the final judge.

Ironic, the world's "smartest" and yet it brings more harm than good. If only they could see themselves...from within.

If only they didn't fear and looked into the dark. Our dark, our darkest hour...our darkest selves.

To find themselves, their other selves. Like i found you. It is why we always let them decide. See if they'd face their own darkness...

Or fear the monster that lurks within?

Like Us.

rachelrainford6: This probably has to be one of the best books I've read on here. I read it quite quickly and I'll have to say the story took a turn towards the end that I did not see coming. The topic discussed in this book such as life really gave me a new insight and I realize that it is taken for granted.

Barbara Zavela: Do you know the song, 'Imagine' by John Lennon? If you had a chance for a world like the one described in that song, would you grab it with both hands or turn away and reject it.This story pulls you in from the beginning with well-written scenarios. The author offers you the opportunity to bring y...

Deleted User: This is a very clever story in the style of 19th century (and turn of the century) Gothic writing, very reminiscent of Stevenson's The Body Snatchers or even of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (less so of Frankenstein itself, since the author is more minimalist than Shelley's florid, Romantic rhetoric). ...

voovoo2003: I love everything about your story is was amazing. The plot and the way everything was put to together is wonderful, PLEASE!! Tell me there's more to the story is can't end the way it did. I was shocked and in need of the rest

Spring: I normally don't read fiction novels, but I absolutely enjoyed reading Silent Shadows! The style is quite different from the previous fiction novels I've attempted to read. Great job!

Rachel Mc Donald: This was an awesome book a real page turner couldn't put it down . The characters all had a good back story . I love these kind of books and would read it if you decided to write a follow up book . Excellent work

Arabella: The catchy blurb caught my attention. The story is creepy but I would not qualify it as a horror story. The characters are likeable and I’m impatiently waiting for new stories from Obsidian Fae.

ChristianHooks: D'graive is the conduit the whoooole time. Can you believe that? DAMN NATURE YOU SCARY! WHAT IN TARNATION

harry142018: This story was gripping and very professionally written. With lots of twists and slight of hand tricks, the author deceives the reader until finally showing their cards at the end. With several subplots all intertwining to create the main plot, this really is an interesting and engaging read.

noelia herrera: I could not stop reading this book. it was truly great and it caught my attention quick. there was some misspelled words and some misplaced. but overall, IT WAS FANTASTIC! great job. I recommended this book to all my family and friends.

Deleted User: (A review in progress). I like this. It's sparse, gritty and atmospheric - reminiscent of the classic Golden Age of American detective fiction of the Thirties. I've only read the beginning, but I'll definitely be back. This writer knows their stuff and has done their homework on detective work. T...

Ethan Hawke Branom: What a story!!!! From beginning to end you didn't want it to stop. Renee is a feisty woman who will stop at nothing to make things right. It is a story that could actually happen, and makes you stop and think of how the world works and how one persons desire can drive them to get what's theirs. M...

Girl on Fire: Great story, line Alex!!!It really has a edge on it. It put me on edge with its thrill. Can't wait to read the rest.!!!

Jan Imonti: Loved the story, but didn't like the delivery...had to read this on my computer on line. Wasn't able to download it to my kindle. Excellent story, lots of twists and turns. Fairly quick read. Love the versitility of Mitchell's writing. Keep up with the great mysteries.
