As she took the leap

I saw her

As she struggled not to cry

I heard her

As she screamed her goodbye

I saw them

The scars on her body

I watched them

As they tortured her mind

I listened for

Her silent screams

I saw her

As the world became a blur

I watched her

As the world fell apart

I knew her

Before all this

I saw them

They sneaked in

I watched them

They took over her mind

I lost her

Before she took that leap

I watched her

As she faded away

I saw her

As the world left her behind

I blinked

And she was gone.
