About the Author
Michael J P McManus lives in the town of Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, England where was born and bred. He studied administration as well as English literature and history at Cheshire West Adult College in Ellesmere Port and is now retired. He has had an interest in writing since he was young, but only really started writing full length stories and short stories a few years ago. He also has a passion for writing poetry and songs. He has also been a paranormal investigator for over twenty five years and brings his skills as an investigator into some of his stories. He cites his favourite film as The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and his favourite authors as H. P. Lovecraft, M R James and Algernon Blackwood.
Michael’s first book to be published was 215 Lexington Avenue, followed by his book of poetry titled The Black Death and Other Poems of the Mind, and a volume of short stories titled The Horror of Dunhaven and Other Tales. He also co-writes Paranatural Detective Agency stories with his good friend and fellow author, David Ralph Williams. Vol. 1 & 2 of the series has been published by Amazon.
