Prologue

It wasn't something that I had wanted to do when I was alive, that is. This whole profession isn't something that anyone would want, especially those that are in it now. Those of us who are in this profession are those who committed suicide. The reason for our existence is to atone for our sin.

We are the ones who ferry you off to your destination after death.

We are the ones who have to atone for taking our lives.

We are the ones who work for Death and do his dirty work for him.

We are the Reapers.
