DAY FOURTEEN

THE BURIAL GROUND: DRAGGED UNDER

‘Right guys, we’re all heading down to the burial ground. You may not see anything. But, there will be lots of information for your essay.’

They all headed away from the hotel towards through the clearing. ‘Right guys stick together, and no wondering off okay.’

They all walked passed the black magic church, the police station, the dark woods, and the cemetery, and its crypt onto the burial ground where Adam began to give them a brief documentation on its history. ’Right class Adam will now explain a little about the Burial Ground, if you have any questions feel free to ask.’

‘Don’t look much.’ One commented.

’It may not look much, but there are many skeletons that are buried here. We found a few of them when we came out here five years ago. Some human, many lets say were unknown even to us. We believe that there were two army’s one good one very much evil. One was reigned by religion and the other by Satan. This was many centuries ago how many we do not know, but what we do know they fought in a big battle for the devil to keep his land from been taken by these religious sinners as the writings in the crypt would suggest.

A frailled skeleton phanagle reached out of the cracking earth grabbing an ankle of one of the students, she stepped forward it grabbed the next dragging them in.

‘Where’s Chrissie?’

‘Don’t know Miss she was just here.’

‘Anyway as I was saying.’

They all turned looking at Adam. ’This is the first sight of four burial grounds, the cemetery is the second, the black magic church the third, and last, but not least the edge of Ghostly Hill.

‘So was it just those that lived here that died here?’

‘No. There were hundreds of each of the religions. As we are led to believe Satan died in his cell. Cell 13 and his bodyguards either side in cells 11 and 14. Satan disposed of many of the skeletons and to this day they still haven’t been found.’

A frailled skeleton phanagle reached out of the cracking earth grabbing an ankle of one of the students, she stepped forward it grabbed the next dragging them in.

‘Aaron’s disappeared Miss.’

‘Great.’

‘Shall I continue?’

‘Yeah sorry.’

‘There were lots and lots of blood shed between the two religions.’

‘Why did they fight?’

‘They were a Christian colony that the others Satanists. One believed in god the other the devil. The Christians believed that the land should be used for good, not evil so a war begun. They believed too many of the innocent were dying through their satanic beliefs and they wanted to change the way of the land.’

A frailled skeleton phanagle reached out of the cracking earth grabbing an ankle of one of the students, she stepped forward it grabbed the next dragging them in.

‘Where’s Connie?’

‘She was here a minute ago.’

‘Anyway the Satanists believed that they weren’t killing the innocent just the opposite. They were killing those that had repented against them and their beliefs. The arguments then became a full scaled war between the two religions Satan and his followers against the Christian though no one is completely sure who won the war because no one survived to tell the tale. Satan died in his cell alongside his body guards whilst others died here.’

A frailled skeleton phanagle reached out of the cracking earth grabbing an ankle of one of the students, she stepped forward it grabbed the next dragging them in.

‘Where’s Cally?’

‘She was here.’

‘Sorry Cat. This is helpless I can’t possibly continue with every one disappearing from round us.’

‘Okay everyone back to the hotel don’t want to loose any more of you.’

They all turned heading away from the burial ground it was so quiet and decelet, the dirt and clay compound held no real answer to where the four missing students had gone.

An eerie silence lingered across the burial ground for a few moments as the other students faces held many questions to what had really happened out there that day. The clouds lingered across the dark skies. ‘Come on guys we best get back looks like a storm’s heading our way.’

They all walked back across the burial ground keeping their eyes on each other hoping none of them would disappear too. Everyone sat silently upon their return to the hotel eating their supper before retiring to their rooms.

‘Wasn’t that weird today?’

‘Yeah.’

Joe sat next to Caitlin on the bed. The thunder crashed the lightning lit up the room. ‘What’s wrong Cat?’

‘Nothing.,’

‘You don’t think I did it do you?’

‘I..’

‘I was there with you Cat, and so was Mark. We can’t work that quick. We may be good, but we’re not that good.’

‘I guess.’

‘Maybe the skeletons sucked them in!’ He joked.

She scoured at him. ‘That’s not funny.’

‘I thought it was.’

‘Jo.’ She began.

He placed his lips on hers to silence her kissing her hungrily lowering her to the be undressing, making love as the rain bet down on the hotel window.
