Body Thieves

Dear Eurus,

I hope you are well. Everything is going well in Australia. However, there is something off. Funny, those type of things always follows us around, doesn’t it? Anyway, I have another strange case.

A few nights ago, a man came to me in a dream. He said that he can’t get back to his body. I asked him why. He said that it was stole from him. I asked him where he was. The man said he didn’t know where he was. He practically begged me for help. I didn’t know what to do and told him as such. Now, he won’t leave. This man keeps begging me for help.

He isn’t the only one.

They won’t leave me alone. Someone or something is forcing them out of their bodies. One displaced soul came to me this morning. She looked about fifteen years old. The poor las didn’t know what to do. (I don’t understand why they keep coming to me.) I had to try and stop her from crying.

You can already guess where this is going. I hate to ask you for this. You’ve got your own missions to worry with. You don’t need mine too. But here we are. Something is telling me that things will get worse. I don’t know how long before they come to me. That first man won’t leave. He’s in my room right now. He’s trying to read what I am writing to you over my shoulder. I promised that I would help. And look where it’s got me.

So, this is why I am writing to you. Do you think you can help you out?

Signed, Angus

Dear Eurus,

I hope you are well. It’s worse than that I thought.

More souls keep coming into my flat. I can’t make them leave. I put up the charms like you said, but they seem to think that is a suggestion. Somehow that first soul told them about me. Now what?

Other than that, nothing else is happening. Well, there is one thing. I think I am seeing the source of the problem. Last night, I heard someone singing in my room. At first, I thought I was dreaming. But then, the singing grew louder. The next thing I remember was jolting awake. I have spent all day trying to piece together what happened. Here’s what I can gather so far.

There was something in my room. I could tell because I felt it in the room. I didn’t leave any doors or windows unlocked. I think something is trying to disconnect my soul out of my body. The only way I figured that I didn’t leave my body was the charms that sent me days ago. They really worked.

You know what, I am going to take this case. But I am still going to need your help. What time are you usually up? I will call you then. Thank you for hearing me out.

Signed, Angus

P.S.: I found something in Melbourne that could help us win this war. I can’t say it here in this letter. I will tell you once I get back to England. For now, send me more charms. At the time I writing this, you have a good day.
