SYNOPSIS

The world that revolves around the globe is said to be built on trust, but even the most trusted is the most unworthy. Child molesters and pedophiles. Your children and their safety. What would you do to protect yours?

Tamaria Armstrong was well loved and well watched, but even the most careful protected could be the most careless watched. Abducted at the age of nine and tortured by a pedophile. Forced into committing acts a child should never experience. Brought up in a family of Black Magic Worshippers. Lost in a world of evil, she experienced death at a young age. Her soul never got a chance to be judged for passing. Instead her soul was trapped in a dark room between Heaven and Hell.

The Angels searched for her soul, as the Underworld searched to claim her soul. The lord gave her a second chance, for when she died she was too young to know right from wrong. Her only thoughts were this was a sad, lonely and horrible Life After Death. Tamaria wondered what happened to Paradise we all believed in when leaving from this world. Raised in a family of Rituals of Black Magic, Tamaria recited a ritual to her abductor before he took her life, promising she would be back for him.

Wait to see what she has in store for those who oppose hideous acts against the young. She is no longer Tamaria Armstrong. She now calls herself, THE DREAM ANGEL.

Jean Tryon: As a beta, I found this story outstanding!! Plot, grammar, phraseology, etc Rachel gives us it all. She takes the story into the future from where due South ends. She is an exacting and thoughtful author.

Nichole P. Conard: The characters are well created and pull you along through the story. The plot is well thought out, with some interesting turns. I was unsure what was going to happen, several times in the story, which is a grand point, as who wants to know they have figured out the story correctly...once they ge...

Catherine Kopf: Wow! This was a really great story. I really enjoy reading fantasy, so it didn't take long for me to become invested in the book and its characters like Jacob. I really liked your writing style, and it seemed to flow very well. The descriptions that you used for your world were also created n...

C.K. Bachman: Just read the first chapter. Love how the main character thinks and is conflicted over his wife and the trickery he uses on her.

Bri Hoffer: I couldn't put it down!! The characters are all incredibly likable, and it's so descriptive you can see, smell, and feel thier surroundings. Great story, and very well written. I cannot wait for follow up stories. there were a few grammatical errors, but nothing that I could move right over.

taosgw74: If this is the authors first attempt at writing, I'm floored. I was engrossed in the plot from the get go.

Roy Jenner: I was pleased to join the action where this B-17 was limping back across the English Channel defying all odds. Obviously written by a person more than familiar with the interior of the Flying Fortresses that were familiar in the skies of Southern England during World War 2. Plenty of action here ...

matrixmark: I thought that the introduction to this was relly well written and structurally sound in its presentation. The introduction to the cabin in the woods was good too. To me, it felt like a Blair Witch of yesteryear, but the things which you added in about the mutilated boys were certainly something n...

263Adder: Okay so I adore this story. I only knocked one star off plot for historical inaccuracies because I'm a bit of a stickler for that. The ending broke my heart though, considering you already changed history couldn't you (SPOILER) change it a bit more and have them together!!!! I want an alternative...

Jason Phang: I'm pretty new to Inkitt (this is only my 4th book) and I must say I've been thoroughly impressed by the quality of the authors here. Remnants of Chaos is an excellently written book that hooks the reader, and doesn't let go. There are some grammatical and typographical errors, but nothing too se...

Deleted User: This is a very clever story in the style of 19th century (and turn of the century) Gothic writing, very reminiscent of Stevenson's The Body Snatchers or even of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (less so of Frankenstein itself, since the author is more minimalist than Shelley's florid, Romantic rhetoric). ...
