The Letter

Getting new job is always wonderful thing that makes person feel happy, doesn't it? In my case i was both happy and surprised when i got letter from mail telling me that i got job as nurse in ward that was for cancer patients, happy for the opportunity to learn new things and payment was good for person who had still the package of student loan hanging over my head. Surprised i was because of my experience on the field was so low.

Letter was like the usual ones telling how grateful they were to have new member to their hospital staff and how they were looking forward of the time we would spend there as big family, but there the normality stopped.

What followed were the rules of the ward. Some were normal rules that every hospital and ward might have, but some were almost disturbing ..

rule 1: Hospital staff have to wear working clothes no t-shirts and jeans allowed

rule 2: due to risk of contamination cloves need to be changed in between two patients before exiting one room.

rule 3: for your own safety and for safety of patients you are not allowed to wear any hanging material such as ear rings, piercings. Those might cause risk of infection and danger to be torn off

rule 4: washing hands before and after attending to patients is important

rule 5: the image of the hospital is important do not wear too much make up or too bright hair color

rule:6 when ever encounter patients that are silent and pale on wards corridor do not speak to them. it is matter of respect to let them be

rule 7: you are not allowed to take any money or gifts from patients or their relatives. all donations belong to hospital

rule8: when you hear screaming from dark and empty room for the peace of your mind let it be

rule 9: doctors and nurses are not for moral reasons allowed to be social together after or during work hours

rule 10: if you see woman walking besides examination table and crying do not look at her it makes her more upset

rule 11: make sure your wallet, keys and mobile phone are locked on nurses changing room during working hours

rule 12:all mobile phones and tablets must be turned off during sift

rule 13: if someone asks for help and bleeds and everyone just walks by it is better for you to ignore it. he or she just might go away

rule 14: if you make mistake and something attacks you for not following rules, please do not be loud . wards patients need their rest

Im sure you will be happy and find our ward to be relaxing and wonderful place to work.

yours Head nurse Miranda Mckinley

Spring: I normally don't read fiction novels, but I absolutely enjoyed reading Silent Shadows! The style is quite different from the previous fiction novels I've attempted to read. Great job!

skippybash12: This story has engaging characters that you care about and a plot that is unpredictable and exciting. It is well written with a believable voice. Great weekend escape and if there was a sequel available I would buy it today -

missmary: This story sucked me in from the start and kept me reading when I should have been in bed. My only disappointment is how it ended. While I have nothing against Sherlock/John pairings- and this was well done- I kind've hoped it would come out a little different just for a change. Still, this was w...

Anehalia: This review is for the first chapter:I struggled to get through the first couple of paragraphs. The first couple of paragraphs were all setting detail without any introduction of characters. The description of the setting used repetitive words and had some tense mix up for words. It made for a ve...

Tony Lee: Very interesting with good ideas! Would recommend it as a casual read. Been depressed for quite some time but this novel kept me occupied for about a week. If you enjoy fiction-thriller novels with some magic involved, then this is the novel for you.

Diane April: Really liked the concept of this story. The beginning had a great explanation about how things worked in the real world that people tend to overlook. It was a nice change from the usual zombie story that just makes things up as they go along and actual facts don't matter.

Ali Albazaz: I started reading "Caged" few hours ago and I'm on chapter 7 now. Caged is definitely one of the most addictive stories I've ever read. Thank you so much for writing this novel.

Jacquie Walker: This is one of the best books I have had the pleasure to read. Claudio has created a very "real" world brought alive as his words paint a rich tapestry of the lives of his characters and the world they live in as they journey toward their destiny.I recommend this to all who love this genre.... it...

Maryam Rehman: The story was overall amazingly penned down. I loved how the story transitioned from the lavish city of London to the war torn Aleppo. Even though the story had some loopholes in some places, it made me contemplate failing in chemistry, because I was up all night glued to my mobile screen rather ...

Ashley Stryker: So I'm writing this review, keeping in mind that this is a work in progress and it's part of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), so my "deeper" critiques will be saved until it's all finished up.+ Chapter One: A stewardess would not talk to anyone quite like that, particularly a clear minor...

M. Drewery: I did think I would be reading just another Atlantis archaeological adventure story when I came across this book. However I think it's fresh and very different to other approaches to the same historical mystery. The first chapter drew me in brilliantly. I'm not great at spotting technical writing...

Someone: This was a fun, entertaining read. Although the novel wasn’t stylistically polished, and although the first couple of chapters struggled to hold my attention, the rest of the novel was engaging and beautifully done. You had me fooled until the end. The rest of this review will contain spoilers fo...
