I thought I did everything perfectly

I thought i did everything perfectly, but i ques i did not . I thought to myself after watching police cars surrounding little forest near my home. How could they have found it so easily after all the things i did.

In my mind we had perfect relationship, but something went wrong and i found that stain of makeup from your shirt. Did you really think i would not notice ?

I waited you when you arrived from work. How happy you were when i had cooked you dinner and made coffee with fresh apple pie after it .

Little did you know that it had special spice in it . I watched you starting to sweat after eating and you started to complain how it was getting harder and harder to breath. You had no idea why did i just sat there and drink my coffee while you were chocking, you poor bastard.

Even now while you sat there your face against the table and take your last breath you disgust me . When it had been quiet for several minutes i drag you to the garage and put you inside my car and drove to the woods.

Then next morning i did my best to look worried and started calling to your workplace , to your relatives and finally to the police how you had not come home last night and how it was not like you to stay away without informing me .

With help of my co-worker i printed out several missing posters and placed them around the town. I smiled when i saw how people truly wanted to help and i trusted that it would all go perfectly after all i had hidden you so well.

Days turned into weeks when i suddenly had call from police that your body had been discovered " damn" i thought

I managed to act as woman in distress to the officer who arrived my home and he believed it. But then rumors about your affair started going around the town and fingers started be pointed at me .

I thought i did everything perfectly but i ques i did not . Now i have to run and this story will be part of my perfect get away.

This time i will do everything perfectly i know it......

CookieMonster911: The story overall was an adventure that is appealing to any age. The way the characters develop adds a more human characteristic to the novel. The writing style itself is amazing because you can learn every character's thoughts and emotions. The awkward love triangle and jerk moments adds to the ...

harry142018: This story was gripping and very professionally written. With lots of twists and slight of hand tricks, the author deceives the reader until finally showing their cards at the end. With several subplots all intertwining to create the main plot, this really is an interesting and engaging read.

C.K. Bachman: Just read the first chapter. Love how the main character thinks and is conflicted over his wife and the trickery he uses on her.

Spring: I normally don't read fiction novels, but I absolutely enjoyed reading Silent Shadows! The style is quite different from the previous fiction novels I've attempted to read. Great job!

Rachel Mc Donald: This was an awesome book a real page turner couldn't put it down . The characters all had a good back story . I love these kind of books and would read it if you decided to write a follow up book . Excellent work

rachelrainford6: This probably has to be one of the best books I've read on here. I read it quite quickly and I'll have to say the story took a turn towards the end that I did not see coming. The topic discussed in this book such as life really gave me a new insight and I realize that it is taken for granted.

matrixmark: I thought that the introduction to this was relly well written and structurally sound in its presentation. The introduction to the cabin in the woods was good too. To me, it felt like a Blair Witch of yesteryear, but the things which you added in about the mutilated boys were certainly something n...

kim: This is great! Maybe it could just be a little more specific. One of the keys to great writing is describing things in detail. I think you're off to a great start. I wish you much luck.

cuzley: I enjoyed this read, the romance and the "who done it" worked well together, I would recommend this story to both romance and mystery readers .

maewilde25: I liked this, though it dragged on for over 200pages and heaven knows I did not expect the plot twist in the middle. David being Cristiãn. I was wondering when he would show up and didn't know he was there all along. it looks like there should be a sequel, please let there be a sequel. I know the...

skippybash12: This story has engaging characters that you care about and a plot that is unpredictable and exciting. It is well written with a believable voice. Great weekend escape and if there was a sequel available I would buy it today -

Tony Lee: Read this during my 7-hour flight. You've done a great job describing each situation, but I believe there is room for improvement. Also, the ending was a bit abrupt and I think the last part where Terry Hunter was brought in again (slight spoiler) wasn't really necessary.. But overall the story k...
