The Anime Universe Part 2:

The city was a veritable mess. Metallic boatlike vehicles were floating in the air high above them. Robots the height of houses walked in the midst of the streets while people walked around them like it was no big deal. Laura and Alicia were glued to their street corner, taking all these incredible and strange sights in.

“Truly, we have entered a strange and terrifying universe,” Alicia said. “Now where do you think I can find an outfit that does not render me a...” Her thoughts were quickly interrupted when a man, screaming in terror from a then unknown threat, briefly bumped into them before fleeing.

“Oh great, it’s the Kaiju attack,” Laura mumbled.

“The what?” Laura blinked several times.

“Uh... the battle that’ll get the plot started. Yeah, that.” Sure enough, towering over the city was a massive green dinosaur like creature, stomping on buildings and cars for no apparent reason. “Here, we might need these.” Laura took out two katanas and handed one to Alicia.

“You expect us to fight against a 100 foot leviathan with... swords?” Alicia muttered in disbelief.

“Not swords... katanas. Don’t you know how ridiculously powerful katanas are in the anime-verse?” Laura held her katana up haphazardly and squatted down to jump. “Here, let me show you. SUPER VERTICAL SLICE!!!” She jumped 200 feet in the air, somehow, and slammed her 3 foot long blade straight down the monster’s midsection, cutting it in half and saving the day. In spite of the monster’s overwhelming mass, its carcass fell cleanly into the outskirts of the city, causing absolutely no collateral damage. Alicia ran up to Laura, staring at the mess in disbelief.

“What the hell was that?” she said.

“Standard fighting procedure.”

“And why did you yell like a maniac before attacking?”

“Another prerequisite to having any power,” Laura answered. “Course you could have probably obliterated the monster to dust.” Alicia raised an eyebrow. “Rule 35 Subsection 1C, physical strength in females is directly proportional to the size of their bust.” She looked down at her chest which, sure enough, was bulging several inches in front of her with the fabric barely holding it in.

“I wonder how my back is still functioning,” she muttered.

“Anime physics work differently?” Laura offered.

“It’s the only logical explanation seeing as I’ve shrunken down 8 inches in height yet my bust only got larger.” As soon as the women sheathed their weapons, they were mobbed by an army of grateful civilians, who had inexplicably come all the way back to the city to admire their heroic strength.

“That’s right. We’re the heroes!” Laura shamelessly exclaimed.

“I wouldn’t get so cocky so soon,” Alicia said.

“Ah come on. When’s the last time anything went this well for us? Celebrate a little.”

“That’s what I’m worried about. Nothing ever goes this well for us.” Among the crowd, a small group of very young and grimy looking peasants immediately stuck out.

“Excuse me miss, are you two the prophesied Super Mega Ultra Sorceress Samurai that can save our village from the evil Dread Kill Lords?” a small boy asked. Alicia and Laura exchanged confused glances.

“The what?” they asked in unison.

“The people that... you know what? Just come with me, I’m with the people that get your story plot rolling,” the boy said.
