Chapter 1

"You must be wondering why I've called you here today," he said seriously.

The four in front of him looked at each other nervously. This was it! The moment they would finally know why they have been called here; when they would be told why a collection of four ordinary people, who seemed to have no special abilities, powers or talents, had been called to a secret government building, by the newly appointed head of division himself. Understandably excited, they waited with bated breath for him to reveal his reasons.

Suddenly, the boy grinned at the group and stepped over to the door. "I really wanted someone to watch me unlock the doors for the first time!"

Roxie: This was a very well thought out story and I greatly enjoyed it! I don't usually go for these kinds of stories because of clichés and what not, nut this was great. Jasmine Chow: As I read this story, I was reminded some what of Terry Pratchett, especially some descriptions of politics and economics. The sci-fic setting is quite intriguing. Writing style is quite lovely and grew on me slowly. I was also slightly reminded of Mark Twain, especially his book A Connecticut Ya...

Rebeccaseal: This was an almost perfect story that I would recommend to anyone. The only thing I would work on is painting a more realistic picture of Haiathiel. Somehow the environment seemed limited, and the land itself a bit unfinished. This can be solved simply by added descriptions to people and places. ...

yogashri asyosa: i liked the way the story revolves. it was interesting with Sara and Allie. i would have thought bring Max in the POV of Sara could have been elaborate so the drama could have been even thickyes there is few grammar errors but i was able to make it up !! Had a good time reading !!

Destiny Lee: This is amazing. It's totally realistic - cool girls have flaws, too, okay?? Totally awkward girl picks up her mom's old bass from her garage, messes around, and realizes, hey, maybe I can move on after all. She has moments where everything's hopeless for her, after all, an alcoholic dad and a fl...

asianzwerg: its cliche, but in a good way. it captured my attention at once and ate its way through to my heart. it made me feel lots of emotions, from wanting to rip my hair out to crying myself to sleep coz irs just. stuck. in. my. mind.

M.Jones: Its rare i come across stories with women relationships and its rather realistic, but at the same time its as a fantasy in terms of a shinning knight and a princess type style. The only thing was I was having some issues at parts with keeping track of who was saying what and who was talking at ti...
