Wakey wakey, eggs and bacon?

The sun was shining bright through the window. The birds were singing and a loud snoring didn't help the Disney feel. Suddenly someone peeked between the three blankets on the bed. It was Anya.

"Hello mean mean world!" she said like it was already part of the daily routine. Cat Nym didn't let herself be bothered and continued to sleep.

As Anya got out of bed and moved around her apartment, she slowly put on her clothes and got ready, but the sight was far from a person who was excited to go to work. More like a zombie learning its human ways again.

"Hey Anya! Looking sharp, ready to welcome the people of the free world with your sunshine?" yelled the neighbor Alex. Alex was a something else. Every day he had a new theory on how the world came to be. Today it was .... Aliens. "Hey Alex, so what's cooking in that brain of yours today? But i believe aliens? How long has it been now? Yesterday it was that snow is not snow, its the flakes of the dead. A week ago you were so sure, that Obama is actually the selected to be president by the Illuminati. But i have to say, my favorite so far is that we are not humans. We are some kind of a light in a meaty bag." Anya looked at Alex to see hes response. But no yelling, Alex only nodded and and told her that he wishes that the aliens would go gentle with the probing.

Half and hour later she arrived at work. Her friends were there and ready to take on the day. Anya works as a sales consultant in a telecommunications company. She loves her job, the challenges and the weird people. But she doesn't like the early mornings.

"What time did you wake up? You look like .. I don't know ... A sleep?"

"Oh, Grace, the firs lovely face I have to see every morning. But to be polite, i woke up dark o'thirty. So yes, i am a sleep."

Grace rolled her eyes. Many believe that they are not friends, but again many are mistaken.

All the worker bees have arrived and the day will continue.

ianwatson: The comedy is original and genuinely funny, I have laughed out loud many times reading this book. But the story and the plot are also really engaging. sujitha nair: What's so distinct about this story was that it could easily be real. Praveena can be your classmate, neighbor or that girl you saw at the coffee shop today. The important decisions she makes and the dilemmas she faces, remind us of our own twisted lives.

Destiny Lee: This is amazing. It's totally realistic - cool girls have flaws, too, okay?? ArgyrisMetaxas: Thrilling story which builds layer ontop of layer. A few mis spellings every few chapters. What I found special was that it took a modern day problem and took it to its logical conclusion and plays this realism with gritting precision. I'm always on edge ready to shout from adrenaline. This is gr...

Books17: This is my first book review.I found the story to be very intriguing. The beginning of the story starts and you are immediately thrown into wanting to know what will happen next, The action, or intrigue is established early, so there isn't the feeling of the story dragging on, or thinking about wh...

JulieJeanette: I'm only on chapter nine, but so far I am loving this story!. I am on pins and needles hoping that they find good men in their lives by the end. I am American and so the British tone and lingo ('knickers,' 'sod it' ) of the book is very appealing. I had to find out how much '12 stone' was by goog...

RodRaglin: Your writing is very good, Rachel, but remember you also have to entertain the reader and in that regard it's a bit sparse in action and dialogue.Consider when revising...When starting a new story always consider your protagonist's Goal - what they want; Motivation - why they want it; and, Confli...
