Chapter 1

“Sit down Allie”

Principal Walter instructed me to take a seat with his back turned towards me, arranging his trophies on his shelf. See? He didn’t even have to look who it was to guess the person correctly.

“So, I’ve heard what you have done to Cassie, that was a nasty thing to do”

I mimicked him. What? he used the same line on me every time I came in here.

“Stop sassing your principal!” he scolded. “so why exactly did you punched her again?”

“What? she deserved it” I mumbled. “fat slut”

“So tell me, what did she do to you to earn a broken nose?”

“She slept with my boyfriend” I answered curtly, folding my arms across my chest. I didn’t cry about that, I knew something like that was gonna happen since I refrain from sleeping with that jerk. But I guess applying super glue in his boxers wasn’t that mean, right?

“You should’ve have given her a black eye too” he nodded as he took down one of his trophy and set it on the table.

“You really think so?” my eyes sparkled for a bit. “because I would love to..”

“No, you will not do such a thing young lady, now, let’s see what we got here..”
He spun the trophy around, allowing me to read whatever was written on the golden plate.

“Before I became a principal, I was a..”

“Wait let me guess, a pole dancer?”

“No, I..”

“Uh..stripper?” I lifted my finger.

“No Allie, I..”

“A hooker?” I questioned.

“Allie Stone!”

“Okay okay, sorry”

“I was a boot camp instructor, to be honest, I was once like you, I loved to inflict pain on people, punched whoever I wanted, caused havoc in the senior prom..” he paused as he examined the trophy under his spectacles.

“ what does this exactly have to do with me again?” I asked.

He smiled. “I will talk to your father concerning your behavior today, I hope that you would not continue doing what I did last time, you may now proceed to class.”

“What? that’s it? No I’m-giving-you-detention-for-a-week? None of that no- lunch-for-a-week? Extra activities?” I eyed him suspiciously

“Suspension maybe?“I suggested.

He shook his head. “None of that, now you may leave” he nodded to the door. I got up from the cushioned chair slowly, eyeing his trophy and the principal and then back at the trophy. “Well then, I guess thank you then Mr Walter”

“Oh Allie, be sure to save your punches, you’re gonna need a lot of it” he grinned as I left.

“I heard what you did today Allie” my dad sighed, putting down his cutlery. My mother smirked and gave me a thumbs up under the table. “don’t you encourage her Haylee” my dad reprimanded my mother.

“A girl’s gotta do what girl’s gotta do” my mom gave me a high five and winked at me. “Cassie’s a slut, a whore I tell you!” I defended myself.

“Ah, Cassie Evans?” my mother questioned. “Yeap, a total slut” my mom agreed.

“Language!” my dad scolded.

“But daddy..” I whined. It used to work, the whining I mean,I was daddy’s little girl and still is, but I don’t think my whining is working this time because the next thing he said made me choke on my saliva.

“You’re going to a boot camp”

“Shit! I knew he was up to something fishy!” I cursed and stared angrily at my father.

“Yes and but because you need to fix that attitude of yours before you take on the world honey, this is a chance for you to redeem yourself” my father spoke with no chance for any arguments.

“No freaking way, I am not going to a boot camp, what about all my friends and what about school?” I argued, hoping he would change his mind.

“Principal Walter has already settled that and now all you need is to get your ass to boot camp” he pointed his fork at me and proceeded to cut his lamb.

“Moooommmm” I whined.

Her shoulders sagged. “I’m sorry honey, but your father is right, we want the best for you honey, do us a favor and pack, you’re leaving tomorrow”

“What?!” I stood up from my chair and it fell backwards, with the tears brimming at my eyes, I yelled, “it’s not fucking fair, Cassie should go to an all slut camp too then!” I ran upstairs, my feet pounding on the wooden boards, slamming my room door angrily, I thrashed my bed and threw all he stuffed toys on the floor and plopped myself on the bed. I don’t want to go to a boot camp, I can’t possibly leave all my friends, this is crazy, I hate those stupid little exercise they make you do,the squats and all that shit, the drillings, and do need to mention the shitty food and lodging? I grabbed my pillow and yelled into it. “son of a..”

My phone rang on my bed side table. I pushed my pillows to the floor angrily and I pressed answer. “hello?” I mumbled, wiping the stray tears on my cheeks.

“Allie, what’s wrong?” my best friend Amanda asked.

“I’m going to a fucking boot camp and I’m leaving tomorrow” I wailed.

“Oh my god, are you serious? is this because of what you did to Cassie?”

“Screw her!” we both said out loud together.

“Oh honey, it’s okay, I’ll update you with everything that’s happening okay? I’ll call you, don’t worry, I won’t leave my best friend alone” she cooed.

I smiled a bit. “I hope I come back just in time for the dance”

“You will alright? Don’t you worry, even if you’re not back yet, I’ll stay home and Skype with you, whatever, that’s what best friends do” she said.

“Mandy, you have to go to that dance, or people will loose their sense of direction around” I laughed.

Okay fine, the two of us somehow turned out to be the popular girls on school, we had all the attention we needed, we didn’t have to even work for it, but for Cassie and her army of skanks, they crave for all the attention and did whatever they could to gain it. One word, byotch.

“No I am not going, I’m not going anywhere fun without my best friend” she insisted. I smiled at her thoughtfulness. “Thanks Mandy, you’re the best”

“I know sweetheart, and oh, rumor has it that your now ex boyfriend got his dick shaved and the skin of his balls peeled, guess the super glue did work huh?” she laughed so hard I head a loud thump on the background, she definitely fell off her bed.

“I guess it did” I smirked. “what a shame to the male population” I rolled my eyes and laughed.

“Hey listen, I gotta go, mom wants me to help her bake some mumbo jumbo cake for her students tomorrow, I’ll call you alright? love you!”

“Alright, love you too”

I stared up at my glow in the dark ceiling stickers and sighed, what a bummer, ‘stupid boot camp’ I cursed mentally. Grudgingly, I got up and pulled out my suitcase to pack. I can’t believe it I’m actually doing this shit. Grabbing all my essentials and placing it in the corner of the bag, I began to pack my clothes, shorts, shorts and more shorts, I definitely don’t want to be a sweaty pig when we do all the dumb exercises like, okay seriously, star jumping clearly does not make you look anything like a star, only the idiot Allie when she was five believed it. Grabbing five pairs of hoodies and stuffing it into my bag, my iPod and it’s charger, a few novels maybe, a photo of me and Amanda a few summers ago in a beach, my stuffed teddy, and not forgetting my blouse that says ‘not interested’ and my shades. “hmm, what else?” I mumbled, looking around my room. Ah yes, sun block, I’m not coming home as some burnt fillet o’ fish. Maybe some super glue, just in case. Oh how forgetful of me, I took our my secret stash of marshmallows and chucked at least five bags in there. Now I’m satisfied.

Yawning, I began dragging myself to bed and fell into a deep sleep.

* * *

“Now be good, I don’t want to hear you causing any troubles in the camp itself, do you hear me Allie?” my father spoke as he drove out to the highway. I sighed. “Do I have to do this?”

“You would become a better person in life, that’s for sure” he smiled as he began to turn into some secluded area filled with lots if trees and the annoying birds chirping their beaks off. “Nice environment” my dad looked around his surroundings.

“Yeah, for going back to school” I retorted.

“Honey, please, don’t be like that”

“Okay okay, fine” I raised both my hands in surrender and shut up.

Finally after ten minutes of listening to the radio, we reached a clearing with a really tall gate and the sign above it read, ‘boot camp for boys’

“This is an all boys camp!” I shrieked.
“dad, you’ve got the wrong place”

“No honey, it’s a girl’s camp too, but they didn’t change the name of the camp because they wanna keep it original”

I huffed. “or maybe they’re just too lazy ass-ed to do anything about it”

“Language” he scolded again.

I rolled my eyes and looked at the camp site. Stopping his car, my dad took out my suitcase and I slung my back pack over my shoulder and followed him to register.

I saw all types of people walking around, some working out in the hot sun, shirtless boys running on tracks, girls, oh there are girls too, with tattoos, okay that’s just creepy. I diverted my eyes to the large cabins at the far end which painted in sea colors, impressive.

As my dad spoke to the counselor, I looked around in his office, there were so many badges and trophies of excellence, there was even certificates, what did they say about this camp again? Was it a boot camp for bad ass kids? More like some high achieving university.

“This is your room key, I hope that you’ll learn something new here” the counselor handed me a green key and a boot hanging on the key chain. I muttered a thanks, once everything was settled, I took my suitcase out of the cabin.

“Be safe sweetheart, I hope you learn something good, love you” he kissed my forehead.

“Love you too daddy” I smiled sadly, watching him enter his car and left.

“What’s this? daddy’s girl?” a few bunch of girls came up to me, smirking.
Oh look, more Cassie’s and her skank friends “Fuck off” I rolled my eyes and took my suitcase.

“Feisty too” the other cow spat.

I can’t possibly give my father any trouble just after a minute he left, I’ll just get over and done with with this whole camp and just go home. “hey we’re talking to you, pussy!” the first cow spat.

“Oh, a vagina whisperer, I thought they only did it on dogs?” I smirked.

“Why you..”

“Lay off, Maya” a girl with curly brown hair came up to them and defended me.

“Bug off Demi, this new meat is our rag doll now”

“She’s new okay, just lay off her for a bit” Demi pushed them and they gave me one last glare and left.

I quirked a brow at this Demi girl, why would she even bother defending me, it’s not like I couldn’t defend for myself.
“Hey newbie, I’m Demi” she smiled at me and extended her hand. I shook it. “Allie”

“So, what cabin will you be staying in?” she asked.

“709” I answered.

“Ah, so you’re my new cabin mate, come, I’ll take you there” she chirped and helped me with me suitcase.

“Uh, thanks?”

“Don’t mention it” she smiled.

She’s so weird.
