Now for part two of my plan.
“Oh, you’re not going anywhere today,” I smirked even though her back was faced towards me.
She quickly turned towards me and asked, “What do you mean?”
“I mean, you are not going to get away with trashing my room by just getting scared.”
“You four scared me enough for a whole year and, for the record, I decorated your room, not trashing it,” she replied with a smirk. That’s it, she asked for it.
“Either way, you are not going to that party today. You are going to be stuck here for today,” I smirked right back at her and her face fell.
Suddenly, her face lit up like a Christmas tree and had a smug smile on her lips as she said, “The girls will come looking for me.”
“I took care of that,” I said as I dangled the phone in front of her face and when she tried to catch it, I just lifted my hand up. She’s going to suffer a bit for trashing- sorry, “decorating” my room.
“What the hell did you do?” she asked slowly as she looked up at me.
“Well, I may or may not have texted Lacey and told her that you’re ditching them and staying back for extra dance practice because Ms Allen was being a bitch,” I smirked at her.
“Great,” she muttered. “So, what the hell am I supposed to do with you four?”
“Not four,” Hugh said. “Only Hudson.”
“And he’s going to be annoying the hell out of you,” Finn proudly smirked.
“Hudson Walker? Annoying me? I’d like to see you try. I’m the least irritable person that I know,” she smiled. I like that.
“Well, I’ll try my best and then hopefully succeed,” I replied honestly.
“As you wish,” she replied.
“Well, bye,” Hugh said and went to open the door. She immediately started to walk towards the door but I caught her wrist and held her in place.
“It’s one night, Hudson. Do you really have to take the fun out of my life?” Sky pouted. Cute.
“It took me three whole days to clean up my room. Don’t you think that taking away one night is the least I can do?” I raised a brow and she stopped struggling.
“Fine,” she grunted.
“Have fun!” Jeremy said sarcastically and Sky gave him the finger causing him to feign shock.
“Not that kind of fun though,” Hugh winked causing her to roll her eyes.
In a second, they were all out the door and Jeremy locked the door, and then stuck his tongue out at Sky like a 5-year-old.
I let go of her hand and she shot a glare in my direction.
“You know, there are cameras in here. You could get in a lot of trouble,” she sang.
“I took care of that too.”
“How the hell did you deactivate the security cameras?”
“Let’s just say I have my ways... or that my father owns this building."
“You can’t glare me to death."
“True, but I can actually leave you alone to death,” she said and walked off in the direction of the dance studio. OK, that should buy me some time to set everything up...
I walked into the dance studio that I remember closing just a few minutes ago and turned the lights on. I dropped my bag next to the stereo and turned it on.
Break Free by Ariana Grande came on. I untied my pony-tail and danced along to the beat of the song. And when I say ‘danced’, I don’t mean the usual sensual dancing, I mean the whole letting the music take me with it and let it do whatever the heck it wants with my body.
I moved my hips and arms in sync to the rhythm of the song. It was Señorita by Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes so, you could tell it would feel amazing to dance to it.
It felt so calming to dance to songs like this and not just practice. Every time I practiced, it felt like I was doing this for a purpose but now... Now it feels like I do this completely voluntarily. Like I could stop any time I wanted but I just won't.
As I was doing a twirl, I saw a figure in one of the mirrors, watching me dance. It was Hudson, however, I kept on dancing, just to annoy him by not giving him any attention whatsoever.
My dark brown hair waved along with me as I did. My hair reached till my mid-thigh so it sort of felt really liberating to dance without tying it up. But it felt hella annoying to have it looking like candy floss for 2 and a half weeks.
I took a peek at him from the mirrors to see that he was still watching me with his intense gaze. Yet, I didn't hesitate to swing my hips a little more, letting his gaze linger there a little bit more.
The song ended and I happily finished dancing.
"I thought you were gonna do stupid boys stuff," I panted as I walked to the stereo where my backpack was. I took out my water bottle and drank the last bit of water left in there.
"Well, my agenda was to annoy you but I have an offer to make," he said.
"What is it?" I huffed.
"I'll tell you after you get a shower and change into these," Hudson said as he held up a black bag.
I walked towards him, took the bag slowly and carefully opened it.
"Jeez, there's nothing in there that could bite you," he rolled his eyes.
"Just checking," I sighed.
So, I opened the bag to see one of my black hoodies and sweat pants. My comfort clothes.
"How did you get these?" I narrowed my eyes.
"Oh, there's this thing called a closet where you keep your clothes and stuff so I-"
"I know what a closet is. What I mean is, how do you know I needed a hoodie and sweatpants?"
"That's basically all you have in your closet," he smirked.
"No I don't," I rolled my eyes and thought about it for a moment. Well, he does kinda have a point...
"Go and take a shower in the locker rooms and meet me back here," he said slowly as if he was talking to a stupid person.
"Whatever, Mr Broody," I said before walking out...
