Chapter 23

Sky’s P.O.V

I was confused for a second about what kind of date this could be. Should I wear something fancy or casual.

Then I thought about it for a second.

It’s 1pm. This is Hudson. We’re in Italy on a tour. And again, this is Hudson.

He’s not the kind to do something cheesy.

So, I guess I just have to go with my guts.

I wore a white, long-sleeved, off-the-shoulders crop top with a pair of sky-blue shorts. I added a Gucci belt, a pair of white sneakers, a heart-shaped pendant, a pair of hoop earrings and tied my hair up in a high pony-tail.

I gave myself a once-over in the mirror.

“Sky? Are you ready?” Hudson yelled from downstairs.

“I’ll be right there!” I shouted back.

I took my white cross-body bag and walked downstairs.

As I walked down the staircase, I saw Hudson at the bottom, scrolling through his phone.

He seemed to have noticed my existence cause his gaze snapped towards me.

He had the same blank look on his face that he used whenever he wanted to hide something.

His burning gaze travelled up and down my body, making sure to take in each and every part perfectly.

“Let’s go,” I said quickly as I felt my cheeks redden.

“Yeah. I don’t think I’ll be able to handle standing right here anymore,” he smirked as he gave a once-over to me, causing me to blush further. His smirk widened.

“Shut up,” I tried to hide my red face as I walked out of the house. Hudson just chuckled and followed behind me.

I knew Italy would be great but I didn’t think it would be AMAZING.

We visited a lot of places, ate great foods AND saw some hot Italian guys. Well, I already had the God of Sexy right next to me the whole time, so, the other guys weren’t that appealing.

The views were amazing. We took a lot of pictures and as much as I wanted to post them, I DO NOT want Lacey to kill me.

Uncle George knows about the fact that I’m with Hudson, on a tour since he was still staying in UK and checking up on me.

The food, God, the FOOD! It was amazing with a capital ‘A’. I also took a lot of pictures of it... when I wasn’t busy munching each of them down.

The guys. A lot of them kept looking at me and some even winked at me, which led to me turning into a tomato and Hudson glaring at them like they borrowed money from him and still kept on trying to get more money from him. Seriously, if looks could kill, a lot of guys would’ve been 6 feet under today.

“That one’s good,” I said as I looked at Hudson’s phone. Currently, we were scrolling through the photos that we took through the whole day. It’s around 1am (we weren’t sleepy) and we’re in bed but the lights are still on.

“Mhm,” he replied as he went to the next one. Interestingly, we both hated to take pictures of ourselves or someone else in front of family or friends but secretly kind of loved it.

“Remember that one?” I asked as I saw that the next one was of Hudson scowling and me laughing.

“How can I not?” he grumbled from next to me.

“Aww, no need to be jealous still, Hudson,” I said in a babyish voice.

In the picture, we were at the beach. Apparently, some hot guy came up to me and asked for my number. Hudson went to get something from the car and when he came back and saw this guy flirting with me, he was pissed.

Hudson told the guy to fuck off... probably, since everything he said was in Italian.

At the moment, my past self though it was funny enough to take a picture of this, which ended up in Hudson getting even more mad at me but I eventually managed to get on his good side. Lucky me.

“I wasn’t jealous,” he scoffed.

“Sure you were,” I smirked.

“Ok,” he replied.

“That’s it?” I raised a brow. I thought he would be a bit more defensive.

“Well, I wasn’t the one who got glares from every passing girl or the one who glared at every girl that checked me out,” he smirked. Urgh, I knew he would bring that up! God, why the fuck do you want to make my life this hard?

“No I didn’t!” I lied through my teeth.

“Sure you did,” he remarked.

“Whatever. Just admit it, you were jealous,” I tried to change the subject. Key word: tried.

“As long as you admit that you were jealous,” he smirked as he crossed his arms.

“So, you were jealous?” A smug smile spread across my lips.

“Does that mean you were?” Hudson raised his brows.

“Of course not,” I scoffed.

“Yeah, yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night,” he smirked.

Suddenly, the door opened to reveal a very worried Luca.

“Hudson, ho bisogno di parlarti un minuto, è urgente," Luca said in a nervous tone. Hudson just gave him an emotionless nod. (I need to talk to you for a minute, it's urgent.)

"Go to sleep. I'll see you in the morning," Hudson said to me and with that, he left.

I might not understand Italian, but I know for a fact that something is wrong. And as much as I wanna find out, it's not my place.

I got up, switched off the lights and went to bed.

Today was amazing. I saw a whole other side of Hudson. Now that I think of it, he's changed a lot from the guy I bumped into.

That guy was cold. Distant.

This one is inspiring. A bit friendly. Kind of like a breath of fresh air.

Regardless, I like them both equally and very much.

Wait, what?
