Chapter 26

Sky's P.O.V

We ate dinner in silence. Definitely not a comfortable one.

I helped cook, therefore, Nona was no longer pissed at me.

I'm not gonna bother trying to break this awkward silence. What's the fucking point? What's the fucking point of letting the fucking word-vomit spew out of my mouth?

"There's only one guest bedroom left," Abigail whispered to me as she grabbed my arm and dragged me upstairs.

"So?" I asked.

"So, Hudson will obviously have to sleep in there but where will you sleep?"

"With him," I shrugged like it was nothing because it really was. We've been sharing a bed for like a week now.

"Wait, so you two like... do it?" she furrowed her brows.

"God, NO!" I exclaimed. "And even if we did, do you really think I'll tell you that?" Where did she learn stuff like this?

"So, you two really are more than just friends?" she raised a brow.

"NO! We're just friends," I said.

"Oh," she sounded a bit disappointed. "Ok."

"Ok, let's go set up the room," I smiled.

"But you have to ask Nona for permission to sleep next to him first," Abi reminded.

"Nona, Hudson and I are gonna share a room," I said as I walked into the kitchen to see her wiping the counters.

"WHAT?" she glared.

"Jeez, nothing happens between us. There's only one guest bedroom left since Grana's sleeping in the other one," I said quickly.

"Hmm... Nothing better happen!" she warned.

"Nope. Nothing is gonna happen," I shook my head.

Wait, what?

Hudson's P.O.V

"Come on," she said and pulled on my arm.

"Fine," I rolled my eyes.

We walked into the bedroom to see everything set up. The bed was made and our bags were in a corner.

The walls had tons of great paintings. Wow.

"Get ready for bed. We're gonna go out tomorrow," she said.

"Yeah," I said, still examining the paintings. "Who did these?"

"Abigail," she shrugged.

"Isn't she like... 10?" I raised a brow.

"12, actually She started to paint when she was like... 3," she said. "Of course, at that time, they were a bit, um, messed up, but she improved a lot."

"I can see," I said as I admired the paintings. "She's talented."

"I know," Sky mumbled, looking at the masterpieces in front of us.

Sky's P.O.V

"It's beautiful," I said.

"Yeah," Hudson replied. I looked at him to see him looking directly at me.

I instantly felt myself blush and lower my gaze to the ground.

God, did he just call me beautiful? (Future A/N: Well, I did describe you like a fucking goddess, didn't I? Just take the compliment and move on.)

"Um, I think we should go to bed. It's gonna be a long day tomorrow," I quickly said.

"Uh, yeah," he replied before walking away to get his clothes and go get changed in the bathroom. As soon as I saw the doors close, I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding.

Jeez, since when did I become the main character in a romance novel?

"Nope, no way," I rolled my eyes as I continued to brush my hair. I needed to tie my hair up before I go to sleep.

"Seriously. BTS is not good," he rolled his eyes as he laid on the bed with a hand under his head, shirtless in all his sexiness.

Did I really just think that?

"No, BTS is amazing," I scoffed.

"Uh, no they're not," he shook his head.

"Who are you to say that?" I rolled my eyes.

"Who are you to say that?" he shot back.

"Hey, a lot of people love BTS. They make some awesome songs," I exclaimed.

"No," he scoffed.

"Whatever, Mr Broody. I'm sure that you only like dark and sad songs," I smirked.

"Whatever, Princess No Sense. I'm sure that you only like bright and happy songs," he smirked right back.

"Princess No Sense?" I raised a brow.

"Yeah," he said. "A good little princess who only talks about stuff that makes no sense."

"Shut up," I pouted causing him to chuckle. That sounded great. He smiles rarely but he laughs once in a blue moon.

I closed the lights and went to bed. I laid as far away possible as I can from Hudson.

"Are you mad at me?" he asked with a hint of playfulness in his voice.

"Obviously," I mumbled.

"Is Princess No Sense mad at me?" I could literally hear the smirk in his voice.

"Shut up," I growled but made sure that he knew there was no threat in my tone.

Suddenly, I felt a warm hand wrap around my waist and pull me.

Hudson practically yanked me to his chest and now I was on top of him with my back pressed against him and his arms wrapped around me so that I can't move.

"Hudson, let me go," I said as calmly as possible.

"Ok, then stop being mad at me," he negotiated.

"Nope. BTS is awesome," I replied with a smirk even though he couldn't see my face in the dark.

"No, they really suck," he groaned.

"No they don't," I protested.

"I can do this all night," he remarked.

"So can I," I retorted.

"Ok, if you want to be sleeping like this, you can keep on being mad at me."

With Hudson, I shouldn't even bother to be mad at him cause somehow, he'll get me back on his side. Even if it's in the craziest way possible.

"Fine," I grumbled and he loosened his grip so I carefully turned myself over and laid my head on his chest. His arms wrapped around my body again and I finally felt comfortable.

(Future A/N: NOOOOO!!! FIGHT FOR BTS!!!)

What? Everyone's different.

"Goodnight," he mumbled.

"Goodnight," I replied but it was muffled against his chest.
