Chapter 8

Sky's P.O.V

Any minute now.

Suddenly, we all heard a loud bang from the kitchen and one of the cupboards opened to reveal a guy that they've never seen.

His clothes and hair was really dusty and he looked like he just survived an accident.

"Holy shit!" the random guy exclaimed as he walked towards us. We were all sprawled across the couch.

"Um, who are you?" Jeremy eyed him suspiciously as he stood up with the rest of us.

"What year is this?" the guy asked urgently.

"Uh, what the hell do you mean, dude?" I played dumb.

"Just tell me what year it is?" he groaned.

"2021," Hugh said slowly.

"Yes! It works! Wait, Dad? Is that really you?" the guy asked as he looked at Hugh.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" Hugh exclaimed. "I am too young for children!"

"Oh, right. I'm not born yet," the random guy muttered to himself.

"I'm sorry but who the hell are you again?" Veronica asked.

"And what exactly are you doing in our house?" Maya asked with a confused look.

"I'm Jasper and, as crazy as this may sound, I'm from the future," Jasper said.

"No way. You're lying," I deadpanned.

"Nope, I'm not. You must be Skylar Johnson Williams," Jasper said with a lot of excitement.

"Uh, cut out the 'Williams' part and yeah, that's who I am but how the fuck do you know me?" I rolled my eyes.

"Are you kidding me? You are super-famous in the future! You are my favourite author!" Jasper gushed.

"Wait, do I seriously become an author?" I asked as I leaned in forward a bit.

"Oh, my god, you write the best books ever!" Jasper said as if he was talking to an idiot.

"BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!" I squealed.

Then he looked at Serene and said, "Mom? Is it you?"

"THE HECK?" Serene's eyes widened and she looked at Hugh who was wiggling his eyebrows up and down at her.

"Mom, you are the smartest person ever! You created the Time Traveling machine!" Jasper exclaimed.

"Wait, WHAT?" Hugh and Serene both exclaimed at the same time.

That was it, I couldn't hold in my laughter anymore. I burst out laughing with all of the other girls.

"Awesome acting, Aiden," Veronica complimented in between her laughs. "And you too, Serene."

"Well, thank you, Ver," Aiden (fake Jasper) did a mock bow. However, Serene was to busy laughing to reply.

"Oh, my god, you guys really bought it!" I laughed.

"And all it took was a bit of chalk dust and our amazing brains," Lacey chuckled.

"Do you guys really think that I would really get married to someone who had their last name as 'Williams'? That I would marry (no offence) someone British? I mean, if I'm gonna be spending my life with them, I at least have to understand half the things they say," I laughed.

"Well, there goes my hope," Jeremy said with mock disappointment.

"No way. You're my enemy. Never in a million years," I shook my head and all of them laughed again, except for Hudson.

Jeez, what the fuck does it take to make this guy laugh?

"How did you know that this was the suitable one for me?" Hugh narrowed his eyebrows suspiciously.

"Well, I asked around a bit and turns out, you are extremely fascinated about time-travel. So, I used it to my advantage. Plus, I have others to support me now," I smirked.

"Don't worry, we'll be getting you back, Sky, and you're going to be sorry," Hugh grunted.

"I'll be waiting."

I have been waiting for 2 weeks. 2 whole fucking weeks! What the hell are they planning?

I was in bed right now and sleeping has been getting harder for me the past 2 weeks. Everyday, I imagine them doing one of the worst pranks on me.

Ok, focus. Whatever they throw at me, I'll face it and be the brave girl that I am.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

The annoying sound of my alarm went off and I turned it off. I just need to close my eyelids for a few minutes and then-

Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring.

I reached to my bedside table to turn the alarm off to only remember that I turned it off just 10 seconds ago.

I quickly opened my eyes to see that there were a TON of alarms in my room. Suddenly, one went off. And another. And another. And another. It went on and on until my whole room was ringing with the sound of the most annoying alarms.

Ok, this is like the second best prank they've ever done on me. The first one was when they dyed my hair hot pink. Some of the pink is still there right now. I mean, this is pretty hilarious so instead of being annoyed, I chuckled a little. God, this is a great prank. Maybe I should take notes. Urgh, I just insulted myself! But I can't deny it, this is one of the most amazing pranks I've ever seen.

Too bad it's gonna backfire on them.

I grabbed a bag and stuffed in as much alarms as possible and first headed to Hudson's room.

I opened the door and walked in. There were canvases with graffiti on them, all over the walls of the room. It was nothing like my room. It was vibrant and lively. He sure was talented.

Ok, focus. I have a mission to complete.

I took out 5 alarms from my backpack and placed them all around Hudson's sleeping figure. He groaned and got up.

"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. I guess your plan backfired on you," I smirked.

"Urgh!" he sat up and turned off all the alarms.

"Well, as much as I'd love to chitchat, I've got 3 more people to wake up," I smirked and ran downstairs.

I opened the door to Hugh's room and placed the still-ringing-alarms around him. He whined and got up.

"Rise and shine!" I said sarcastically and ran to Jeremy's room.

I placed actually 7 alarms around him and shouted, "Get up!"

Then I went to Finn's room and dumped all the alarms next to his head. He groaned and got up.

"Good morning, Sunshine," I smirked at him.

I walked outside to see that Hudson followed me downstairs.

"Urgh. Bitch move, Sky," Jeremy yawned. Finn and Hugh apparently decided to stay in their rooms. Lazy snails.

"Awww, you're calling me a dog. How cute," I mocked. He just mumbled something incoherent under his breath and went back inside his room to sleep.

I looked at Hudson to see him smirking at me.

"What?" I asked, subconscious.

He looked me up and down and that's when the realisation hit me. I was still in my pyjamas. Well, shit.

"I'm gonna go back upstairs and change," I said nervously as I felt my cheeks turned crimson and ran up the stairs to my room.

I closed the door behind me and slid down the back of the door. Shit. Shit. SHIT!

That was SO embarrassing!

I sat down on the couch with a romance novel after getting dressed for school. It's only 5 am and the guys woke me up too early. Since I can't forget the embarrassing situation I was in with Hudson, I couldn't sleep, so, I needed a little "distraction".

I bit my bottom lip in excitement as I read the hot lines. God, I could do this all day! Everyone was up now and they were busy doing their own thing.

Suddenly, the book was snatched away from me and I followed the arm to see that it was connected to a very smug Hudson.

"No, don't," I warned.

He cleared his throat and began to read. "I walked into the bedroom in anticipation. I had no idea what he had planned for me but I knew it included some kind of way that pleasured me. His touch, God, his touch was some kind of drug to me. It sent sparks through my whole body and it increased the ache between my-"

"Hudson, we both know that's not what it says on there. This is not my first time reading it," I cut him off and tried to grab the book from his grasp but he just held it higher.

"Oh, his face, I love seeing it between my-"

"Seriously, Hudson, stop it," I laughed.

"Oh, I love how he gives me his huge-"

Before he could say anything else that would potentially embarrass me, I grabbed the book from his hold and wrapped my arms around it.

I looked at him to see that he had a huge smirk on his face because everyone was trying not to laugh.

"There's nothing wrong with reading a romance novel," I defended myself.

"I never said there was," Hudson retorted. That jerk!
