FOREVER TOGETHER

Jackson drove the car into the car porch and got off the car and walked away angrily.

Henzel walked in after him, sadly.

Susanne saw both Jackson and Henzel going in. She went over to Elizabeth who was in the garden.

“Mom,” She called out.

Elizabeth was watering the plants. “What is it?” She asked.

“Is there any problem between Henzel and dad?” Susanne asked.

“Problem?” Elizabeth was confused.

“I don’t know, but I saw dad and Henzel. Henzel looked doomed and dad was angry I guess.”

Elizabeth went over to Henzel’s room. She saw him crying with his head covered by the pillow.

“Henzel, what happened?”

“Mom, dad will scold me,”

“For what?”

Just then Henzel heard Jackson calling his name. He walked down to the hall with Elizabeth.

“Tell your mom about your marks, Henzel,” Jackson said.

“What is it, Henzel? Tell me. I won’t scold you or anything. What’s with your marks?” Elizabeth asked.

Henzel stayed silently.

“He scored 5 out of 50. Isn’t that a great thing?” Jackson asked angrily.

Elizabeth was astonished to hear his marks.

“And, you didn’t asked Benno’s favor, huh?” Jackson asked Henzel who was staring down.

“Henzel, look straight,” Jackson shouted.

Henzel was weeping this time.

“Yes, I asked Benno’s favor.” He admitted.

“For what?” Jackson asked.

“To act as you.” He said wiping his eyes

“Speak clearly” Jackson ordered.

“I got the lowest mark in class and the teacher said that she wants to meet my guardian. I don’t wanna tell you both about my marks. I don’t wanna get scolded. So, I asked Benno to come and act as my father in school.” Henzel said in between weeping.

Elizabeth stayed with an opened mouth.

“Never ever dare to do such Damn things like asking anyone’s help for such impersonation. You are not courageous, then better don’t create problems that are way bigger than what you can handle. Understand?"

Henzel nodded his head.

"As a punishment, you are in charge of the house chores for one week. I want to meet that Benno first. Where is Benno? BENNO……”, Jackson called out.

“He’s not here, I guess.”, Elizabeth told in order to avoid a big issue. But alas! Elizabeth failed in that since Benno came downstairs.

“Yes, Jackson. Did you called out for me?”, Benno asked Jackson with a smile.

Elizabeth was totally fed-up on seeing that.

“Come here.”, Jackson ordered Benno.

Benno approached Jackson, “What’s the matter?”

“Did you promised Henzel to attend his school for the meeting?”

“Yes! He wanted me to come to his school and attend the meeting. But alas! At that time, I and Lorenzo were blocked in a traffic jam, so I could not attend the meeting with his teacher.”, Benno said sadly.

Jackson was very angry with him.

“If you still wanna keep that usual smile on your face, you may leave for now.”, Jackson told Benno.

Benno said, “But, What’s the prob….”.

On hearing that, Elizabeth pulled Benno out from there with her.

“Benno, you better leave right now and come after a day, or Jackson will be mad at you.”, Elizabeth said and left.

Benno understood nothing but left.
