Henzel was about to burst out of tears.
He, avoiding everyoneโs gaze, went up to his room, locked the door, and sat on the bed expressionless. After a while he found himself crying soundlessly.
โWhy didnโt you guys include him?โ Elizabeth asked the others.
โWe didnโt noticed his absence,โ Lorenzo said looking down.
All the others were sad. They felt bad that they totally forgot about Henzel. They tried to talk him out of it but he refused.
It was almost afternoon, and still, Henzel didnโt came out of his room. Unaware of what happened, Leandro and Ruth, who had left, returned back home.
In order to alleviate Henzelโs grief, everyone decided to go out together as mentioned earlier.
โHenzel, get ready, we are going out!โ Elizabeth said knocking on his door. There was no response from Henzelโs side.
After everyone were ready to go, Jackson came and knocked on Henzelโs door again. โHenzel opened the door, right now.โ
After minutesโ silence, he opened the door for Jackson
โGet ready, we are going out,โ Jackson said.
โNo, I am not coming,โ Henzel said looking down.
โWhy?โ Jackson asked.
โMy exams are starting and I am heading to Abel.โ Saying this Henzel walked downstairs washed his face and walked out of the house with a bag on his shoulder.
โHe seems weird?โ Ruth asked.
โNo, itโs just he is concentrating on his studies. Come on weโll go.โ Joanna said.
When they returned that night, they found Henzel nowhere.
Nervously, Elizabeth called Abel and asked if Henzel was at his house and he said it had been a while since he had left.
โAbel said that it had been a while since Henzel left his house,โ Elizabeth told Jackson.
โWeโll wait. Maybe heโll be here within minutes.โ Jackson said.
After minutes, Henzel was back. He just walked into his room.
โWhy is he acting strange?โ Ruth asked.
โNothing, itโs just heโs angry with me because I scolded him for failing in his exam,โ Jackson said.
The next day, Leandro and Ruth were leaving for Leandroโs house in California.
Before leaving Ruth wanted to see Henzel, but unfortunately, he hadnโt opened the door.
โHenzel,โ She called leaning towards his door.
He didnโt replied.
โHenzel itโs me, Ruth. I am leaving to California. I just wanna see you before leaving,โ Saying this she stayed silent hoping that he will open the door. But he didnโt. โFine, Iโll just go,โ Saying this she was about to walk away when she heard the sound of a door opening.
It was Henzel.
As soon as she saw him, she ran and hugged him crying very badly, โI am gonna miss you Henzel,โ
Henzel said nothing but pushed her away after seconds, โDonโt miss the flight, go! Happy Journey,โ Henzel went back inside his room and locked,
Ruth walked away sadly.
And so, they both headed to California.
