He will always find me
I run through the dark halls of my house “Christina? Where are you?” he calls out as I hear his footsteps echo through my big, dark home.
I run to my brothers room and quietly shut the door. I lock it and put a dresser against the door to buy me time. “This isn’t going to work,” I mumble as I open his window and look out.
I sigh and I start to climb out the window quickly and quietly. I look around our moonlit garden I start to shiver as I walk quickly and quietly through the garden. I curse myself for wearing shorts as the branches and thorns scratch my legs.
I walk to the gate and go to open it and see that it has a pad lock on it. I sigh and I start to climb over it. I’ve always struggled with upper body strength and right now it doesn’t help “I need to start working out” I mumble angrily as I struggle climbing my gate.
I feel someone tugging my leg and I start to scream and kick “HELP! PLEASE!” I plead as I feel the person tugging me down.
“No one is going to help you,” He whispers to me “LET ME GO I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING!” I scream my voice cracking as the tears flow down my face. He pulls me down as my head hits the hard cement. I touch my head as I feel something wet flowing down my head.
I feel myself starting to lose consciousness “I love you darling.” He whispers as I lose all consciousness.
