Kasei Bulloch: At the beginning I wasn't very into the story but I kept reading and was more hooked than I was with Battle of the Wills. All of a sudden I had devoured chapter after chapter then the book was over. I am dying for The Compact. Please help a girl out!

Felisa Yoder Osburn: I really enjoyed the story. Civil War stories are some of my favorites and the intertwining of the past with current times was wonderful. I look forward to reading the next stories.

smile4me: Exciting page turner. I was barely able to put it down to go to bed. I can usually figure out the twists before they are revealed but not this time! Such a thrill to be surprised. I can hardly wait for the follow up!!

C J Lawson: Nicely done. Good story with good characters, as well. I was very entertained by the story line, from beginning to end. I would definitely read more of this author's work.

alias: I loved the reason the two of them got together - it was different and very sweet! The pace of the story was good, the characters were well-drawn, and the plot was not overly complicated. There was some good humor, and Flinn's family was a hoot. There were a couple of doubled words, misspelled wo...

Karl12: This is a very unusual sci-fi mystery. I enjoyed the suspense which was present throughout the story. I loved how I never knew what to expect from the characters. This made the story thrilling and made me suspicious of everything and everyone. You have a great style of writing – one which captiva...

Pilleip: This has been a bit different genre from what I usually read but a real delight. I like the vamps being different from cliche. I like the intriguing and unpredictable plot and the quirky characters. The only complaint I have is that I want to read more but the book run out. I hope there's going t...

Deleted User: As a teacher/scholar of British literature, there's nothing I like more than a well-informed tale of historical fiction, particularly one dealing with the murky events around Elizabethan England. Black Dog is full of gritty, well-chosen details that make the period come to life, and a plot that ...

Masen Hunter Malone: I greatly enjoyed reading this story, since there's an unexpected sweetness to it, without being too fluffy or cheesy. The plot wasn't predictable and the setting was rich in detail. It was peaceful and homely! While not all the questions are answered, the ending was satisfying and definitely poi...

biangeli: I really like your work because it's very in-depth to the depression and suicide experience. The pacing and cause-and-effect chain of events were excellent as well, though I think you should also be a little more creative on some explanations of events (i.e. when Katie was explaining about the Al...

Anehalia: This review is for the first chapter:I struggled to get through the first couple of paragraphs. The first couple of paragraphs were all setting detail without any introduction of characters. The description of the setting used repetitive words and had some tense mix up for words. It made for a ve...

Someone: This was a fun, entertaining read. Although the novel wasn’t stylistically polished, and although the first couple of chapters struggled to hold my attention, the rest of the novel was engaging and beautifully done. You had me fooled until the end. The rest of this review will contain spoilers fo...
