Not even a minute later, Nicole ran toward the house. "What happened?"
Nate led her into the living room. He was too choked up to talk.
On seeing the bodies, Nicole screamed, "No. It can't be!"
Nate hugged his sister. "Never thought this happen."
About two minutes later, two Lumber City police cruisers stopped at the house. An officer entered the house and grimaced at the sight of the blood soaked bodies.
"Someone killed our parents. "
