“Right-boss! We’re on it!”
Mickey Dolor, returned to his guest challenger in a lengthy game of chess. The tall black-haired, and clean- shaven, medium build; middle- aged man made his move.
“I’m curious, shouldn’t you have taken my bishop with your rook?”
“Chess….. It is more than just a game of strategy, it is an art…..”
“I see…… Very clever…… You forced me to capture your queen with my queen, and that will place my king in a draw; a stalemate…..”
“You’re a fast learner P’IEDROV….. I’ll have need of your talents in the days to come…..”
“Call me Bishop….. This detective, he’ll be no challenge for me at all…..”
“Good……. It’s like I always say: Keep your enemies in check, and your friends in play…… Sacrifice your pawns, and take knight for knight; leave the bishops to slay….. It’s your calling….. It is about time, for you to take your place…..”
