Chapter 2

May 3, 2017

Now we have another problem, there is this guy standing completely still with his back towards me. I have no idea how long he has been standing there.

20 minutes later...

He’s still standing there and hasn’t moved. So I showed my friend Danyon if he knew what was going on.

Messages

Danyon: “GET AWAY FROM THE WINDOW. KEEP ALL LIGHTS OFF. DO NOT TALK TO THEM OR LET THEM IN.”

Danyon: “and if you see any flashing lights, hide.”

Whoever was standing outside is gone now. SHIT, someone is knocking at my door.
I haven’t heard anymore knocking but I don’t want to get anywhere near the front door to check. 911 and other emergency lines are not responding and the only radio I have is out in the car, I’m trying to gather as much information online as I can.

Danyon: “soooo I have good news and I got bad news”

Me: “Uh oh.”

Danyon: “good news I’m closer to you now”

Danyon: “bad news is I’m out of fuel”

Danyon: “there are no active gas stations anywhere close to me, all the power is down, and all of the gas stations near by are electric gas pumps”

Me: “Oh no”

Me: “how far are you?”

Danyon: “Probs still 8 or 9 hours away”
