1- Blood, so much blood

Luna's POV

Blood... there was so much blood! In a panic, I tried to open the door with all my might glancing back over my shoulder into the darkness of the room trying to get a good look around the room. "Someone he..." I start.

But before I could scream out, a huge hand tightly covers my mouth and pulls me back deeper into the room tossing me down to the ground. The dead body was literally right in front of my face. My eyes widen in shock at the sight of the body, I couldn't help but to just stare with wide frightened eyes at the lifeless body on the ground.

Three men loomed around me in the dark, I could barely make there faces. From the looks of things, they were all apart of some kind of gang. A shiver ran up my spine, my skin and lips turned pale as a sheet as I take in a big gulp of air. "How was she able to break in? Wasn't someone guarding the door?" A deep voice suddenly rang out around the room causing me to flinch back. I glance up and stare at his cold and domineering face, he was holding a gun in his hand and I silently wondered if it was the murder weapon? No one around me dared to speak, for a while there the only sound in the room was my heavy scared shaky breathing.

"P-please... I..." I stammer out slowly, I was so afraid of the man standing in front of me holding the gun. "I d-didn't see-see anything!" I took a couple of steps back, trying to put some space between me and the man holding the gun. Unfortunately, I did not see realize that I was about to trip over the dead body that lay on the floor. Losing my footing, I closed my eyes and braced myself to land directly on the corpse. However, two extremely strong arms suddenly wrapped around my waist pulling me closer to a man's chest. He had caught me just in time. "Hey, let me go!" I demanded from this guy swinging back to try to hit the man who held me against his brick-hard chest. I could feel the man stiffen, tightening his grip on me to prevent me from escaping.

"Come on guys, let's get this cleaned up quickly and get out of here. We need to take care of the body and Todd, take care of the girl." The man holding the gun ushered out, he seemed to be the one in charge.

"Yes, sir." I heard the guy holding me answer the other one, pulling me along with him as he walks away from the others. We disappeared into another room, inside was a queen-sized bed. He had brought me into a bedroom. "Now to figure out what to do with you..." I heard the guy growl out next to my ear as he shoves me towards the bed causing me to stumble and fall on top of it. I turn and glare over at this man... who did he think he was?

"How dare you... please let me go." I scream out lunging at the man, he wasn't going to just keep me here was he? No, he needed to let me go... I need to get away from here. He grabbed ahold of my wrists, slamming me hard against the wall covering my mouth with one of his giant hands.

"Woah lady, who do you think you are? I don't just let women hit me like that and get away with it! I didn't want to have to do this, but you have given me no choice in the matter!" He growls and I watch with wide eyes as he lifts his other hand, in it, he held a needle full of some clear liquid. That was when it dawned on me what he was going to do, he was going to drug me... no!

"Wait... please don't do it! I promise to behave, please..." I start to try to rationalize wit this man, I knew that if he drugged me he could do whatever he wanted to me and there was nothing I would be able to do to stop him. I felt the pain of the needle poke into the back of my shoulder, it hurt for a split second before I felt dizziness start to swarm all over and my body began to relax a bit. I felt him pick me up into his arms and he tosses me onto the bed before my eyes close completely and I drift off into the darkness.

Cole's POV

I finished shoving the body into the suitcase when I saw Todd enter the room and head in my direction. I wanted to ask him what he did with the woman, but he spoke first cutting me off. "Hey boss, so she is knocked out. I had to sedate her... what exactly do you want me to do with her?" he asks as he stops right next to me.

I racked my brain, trying to figure out what I wanted to do with this little nuisance, I couldn't just let her go. She would talk, and I couldn't have that. I had to guarantee that she wouldn't say anything to anybody about what she saw here today. "Put her in my room, I will deal with her later!" I snap at him, probably a little ruder than I wanted to be.

"Yes, boss." He answers quickly and I watched as he turns and walks away to put the girl in my room, I'd let her sleep it all off and hopefully come morning she wouldn't remember a thing and I can just let her go. We finish up quickly, and I let one of my guys take care of the body. It looked like nothing horrific had happened in the room, I knew I was in the clear for now. The only thing I had to really worry about was her.

I head off into the direction of my room, I knew he would have laid her in my bed. But I didn't care, I needed to get some sleep myself and I needed it now. Opening the door to my hotel room, I could hear her quiet breathing and I had to admit that I quite enjoyed the sound. I quietly step up to the bed and look down into her face, she looked so innocent, so fragile. Suddenly, instead of wanting to just get rid of her, I was overwhelmed by a sudden urge to keep her safe, to protect her from harm. What the hell was going on with me? This woman sure wasn't the prettiest girl I had ever seen, but she sure wasn't the ugliest either.

Knock-Knock

"Hey boss, did you decide on what you wanted to do with the girl?" He asks stepping into my room, I step away from the bed and look in his direction.

"No... I am still trying to figure that out. I never wanted to have to deal with this kind of problem, this was never meant to happen." I growl out running my fingers through my hair.

I hear as he clears his throat, "Might I suggest something?" he asks me folding his arms across his chest.

"What?" I snap at him, I was so annoyed at this situation.

"Well, after you told me to bring her here I decided to look her up. I needed to know who she was and find out if she is worth anything and I found out a lot. It would be in your best interest to just keep her boss, she's important. It turns out that the party that was being held here in the hotel last night was for her father, he was the groom of the wedding. He got married to his second wife and it also turns out that the man we killed last night was going to be her groom in about 2 months. She was supposed to marry him, boss! Turns out that her new stepmother arranged a marriage for her, and that she stands to inherit all of his money even though she's not yet married to him. So she would be worth keeping around, just a suggestion." he spills to me.

"What?" I yell that was horrible news. "She was supposed to marry that douche bag?"

He smiles at me as if he was proud of himself, "Yep, and we really saved her from that fate... it seems to me like she really owes you one." he sings, I could tell that he was proud of himself.

I turn and glance at the woman laying on my bed sleeping, how could they do that to her? "It is the fucking 21st century... no one does arrange marriages anymore. Are you fucking sure about all of this?" I growl out, I was beyond pissed about the news he had just given to me.

He looked taken aback as he answers me, "Yeah boss... I am sure. Her Dad and her step Mom signed the papers only a few days ago. It was going to make them rich... seemed like she was only worth about a million dollars to them." he spoke back to me.

Without saying anything back to him, I walk over to the window. Suddenly I needed a cigarette, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This woman who didn't look more than 18 years old was going to be forced to marry that lunatic? And for what, money? Wow... it is crazy how life works for some.

Turning, I glance back over at her lying so still on the bed. I wondered if she had any idea what her parents were trying to pull here? She didn't seem to recognize the dead man on the floor in front of her, she didn't seem to care about him in the slightest. It was as if she had never even met the man before tonight that is. "Well okay, come morning I will have a better idea on things and be able to make a decision on what to do with her. For now, let's go ahead and tie her to the bed, I do not need her getting away while I sleep incase she wakes before I do." I growl out as I place the cigarette up to my mouth, taking in another drag from it.

"Okay boss, sure thing." I hear him say before walking back out of the room, only to return a few minutes later with some rope. I smile a little as I watch him tie her hands to the bed, this girl was not going to be going anywhere without me knowing about it and that knowledge made me relax a little. For the time being she was mine, and I was going to make sure it stayed that way.

"Thank you for doing that, now get out. I need to get some shut-eye, I will see you in the morning." I growl out at him.

"Yess boss... enjoy your night." he sends me a wink and leaves the room as if I would do anything like rape this girl. I finish with my cigarette and then head over to the bed. I look down into her angelic face yet again, I hoped she was having some good dreams after she witnessed something she was never supposed to see in the first place. I go ahead and climb into the bed after undressing to my boxers, she just continued to breathe as she slept everything off... I closed my eyes trying to will myself to fall asleep, only I couldn't stop thinking about her.
