Prologue

Cherchwood town had always been cursed with misfortune but as a series of deaths occur one by one, everyone is all but left to decide if their lives would be next in line.

As a handful of sixteen year-olds are trapped within this circle of death, their only hope is to play the game right and pray that they will see the next light of day.

Some do and some don’t. One wrong step can end oneself on the doorstep of death.

Zachary Walker has his own share of secrets and the guilt that binds him with it, is a burden all too heavy to carry. Will he survive the impending doom that awaits him?

Cleiona Tinkely has lost her sister and is on the brink of losing herself. Will she be able to catch herself before it’s too late or will she plunge in too deep never to return?

Odile Tinker has lost the battle but is given a reprieve. Will she use this second chance wisely or will it be lost?

Lies are woven into the hearts of those who don’t look closely. Will these teenagers solve the case that no one could or will they be the next victims of it?

One could only tell with time.

B.Noble: Awesome concept and commentary on modern commercialism and it’s dark side, really well executed. The main character’s dialogue feels a little stilted a times, and his reactions occasionally seem a little melodramatic, but other than that a great read.

Hilvi: Short, interesting and sweet, JMFelic is always entertaining and her imagination is wild! :-) keep writing
