Ashley jumped up from the rocking chair, the morning had come and her eyes hurt from the sunlight that hit her in the face. James wasn’t in bed, she could smell something from downstairs and knew he had made breakfast again. She walked down the stairs until the kitchen and sat down quietly. James turned and saw her.
“Good morning my love.” He said.
“Hi honey… my head hurts, did we bring any Aspirins?”
“We have Advil’s; I’ll go them for you.”
She closed her eyes and when she reopened them, there was a glass full of water and two Advil’s. He looked at her worried.
“Maybe you should go to bed; maybe you didn’t sleep right on the chair. You looked so beautiful; I didn’t want to ruin it by waking you up, this morning.”
“I had a weird dream; I don’t think it’s a memory. It made no sense.”
“Maybe that’s why you have a headache… I’ll come with you upstairs.”
He held her by her hand as he led her to the bedroom. She started to feel dizzy. He placed her on the bed and kissed her forehead and she quickly fell asleep.
