“It’s being here now that’s important. There’s no past, and there’s no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can’t relive it, and we can hope for the future, but we don’t know if there is one.”
- George Harrison MBE (1943-2001)
Have you ever wondered what you would do if you could go back in time? Perhaps, everyone has gone through with this whenever their minds trip down memory lane. I believe it occurs when another chapter of one’s life ends. As if your brain hints at some past misapprehensions to rectify or to tell your younger self what you’ve learned so you will not make the same mistakes again.
So, I dedicate this story to my childhood best friend, Alecs. You were the only one who listened when I needed one the most. I miss you so much.
To my soul sister, Ruth. Thank you for being there for me always. I love you.
And To YOU, I hope with this (story) you’ll never feel alone.
