Chapter 2 of Emma
As if things weren't bad enough, the left side was quickly decreasing. Carly screamed to the top of her lungs, as her head flew forward as it did so. Looking around, I couldn't look properly because the clock was yelling even louder, as the world collapsed. All I could hear now as my ears bleed was Carly's glass shattering scream as she fell to the ground. In despair, I rushed to the crash site needing to check on her. Bars of metal were in Carly's legs and arms, a hair away from her head as a bar. Her head landed on one of the dingly clowns that were misplaced on the ground. From how it looked the rest of her body was damaged to say the least. Carly was unconscious, however I could hear her breaths. She was alive, but how long do we have? Knowing better than to remove the metal, I rushed through the carnival. The halls seemed endless, as if I was on a treadmill. Finally, I made it to my old boss's office. In his left drawer he has a first aid kit. When I was here years ago, I used to be so clumsy, so I was always in need of first aid. Beside the desk, I grabbed an empty bottle of water out of the trash. Swiftly, I ran to the nearest water fountain and filled the bottle to the rim to insure that it would be enough. In the process of running back to Carly, my arm got cut on a nail sticking out of one of the buds of the flower patterned wallpaper on the walls. Only caring about Carly, I continued rushing back to her. When I made it back, I poured the water on her arms and legs around the bars that were injected into her body. Aftwards, I tapped the surrounding area with the white towel from first aid. Finally, I sewed the ones that I was capable of, while I just wrapped around the bars. Once I was done, my body moved to lay down beside Carly, as my eyes slowly started to close. Right before the could completely, from faraway I could see a clown holding an ax walking towards here. With the rest of my energy, I yelled,
"Who are you?"
