Scene 12

“Shh, honey it's ok. you will be alright” I said while swaying the baby back and forth.
The baby’s eyes started to close and Adrick was finally asleep. There was a knock at the door and I turned around. I saw a tall woman with long balck wavy hair and kinda eyes with a warm smile and intimidating eyebrows. She was wearing a black top that highlighted her chest illuminating the excessive amount of skin showing on her waist and hips. She was also wearing a tight black pencil skirt with her huge iPhone held between her two perfectly manicured hands along with a freshly printed copy of “The Times'' straight off the press.
“Hello, you must be the new mother” I say with a big smile.
“Yes, my name is Marium. What is yours?”
“Rose Miss”
“Nice to meet you Rose, thank you for all your help over the past couple days. I don't know what we would do without you!” She said with a warm smile
“Hello!” A Man dashed through the doorway next to Marium and gave her a big kiss on her cheek. He was wearing a dark blue suit with a long balck overcoat and a tall black hat. and had a tiny balck mustache. He had white pale skin and light black eyes, yet it seemed to overlook his tall ears and his thick black hair. But most people thought it astonishing that his words were articulated with a light British accent by his ever so thin lips.
“Um, Hi! You must also be the new father, How do you do sir?”
“I am well!” He said with a laugh
“I have to rush, I am late to work. It was lovely to meet you Rose dear!”
“You as well Miss!” Marium shared a long kiss with Man and handed him today's Newspaper.
The Man looked at me and his smile turned into a frustrated expression.
“What are you doing here?”
“Um, I am doing my job sir?”
“No, you are here for money aren't you?”
“Well that is what I get in return for doing my job”
“Who sent you, hmm? Was it Laura?” He asked while pulling out his wallet.
I nodded, knowing I was probably going to be kicked out now.
“Look Mr. Kirgen, I am a real nurse but your sister just asked me to take the open position here for a slightly extra cost, nothing more.”
“That better be the case” He stepped closer to me. I could feel his breath blow on my face,
“Otherwise your past will come to light, and trust me, everyone has secrets they don’t want shared”

“Rose, I want to thank you for everything you have done for my nephews and for my brother. You were there when I couldn't be.”
“I am just happy to help!” Rose exclaimed
“Wait, don’t you mean nephew?”
There was a knock at the door and the ladies heard a heated conversation getting started.
“What is going on up there?” Rosed asked
“I don’t know but we better go on up and see” Laura responded.
As they climbed up the spiral staircase, more and more of what was once a muffled conversation between the General and a guest was now becoming clear.
Don’t you dare lie to me, who are you?” The General roared
“I told you, my name is Joey and I am here for Rose.”
“ W h a t i s y o u r n a m e ! ”
As the ladies approached the main floor of the Manor, through the door they could see the General talking very unplestly with a young man. While Laura was nervously awaiting how her brother was going to respond to that man's name, Rose stuck her hand in her hand bag that had been tucked away, praying that what was about to happen, doesn’t.
The General's face was struck with anger and infuriated and insulted, he walked to the table next to the door where a plant sat in a glass vase and emptied the contents in the vase, about to pick it up he heard a click of a gun at his back.
“Don’t even think about it” She said, the gun was shivering in her hands now that the General's hands were also in the air for he was now at the mercy of one Lady Rose MaClare.
