Cancelled
My favorite part of school… canceled, Prom, I had already bought my dress and planned the perfect walk in!

How was it canceled.. why? Did something happen? Was someone hurt? Was the place hunted or something!! My Cinderella dress, my- my everything, everything was gone for me, school would be a nightmare, and I wouldn’t even get to dance to the lovely romance music, no being Queen of prom with Lewis! Was anyone eles upset about this! The world felt gray and nobody was even posting about it! I was hoping one of my friends would pop up with “Making a prom at my house come over!!” But… nobody did that. As soon as I was thinking about it.. my doorbell rang, was Lewis coming over with snacks? We’re my friends making a surprise party for me because they knew how upset I was! Was- I didn’t finish the sentence as I ran down the hallway and opened the door! “Hey guys-“ nobody… nobody came to visit me, I guess it was just a prank.. I walked further out the door to see if anyone was there, but then, I heard a sudden crunch under my foot, when I moved my foot in horror thinking I must have stepped on a bug I reviled a letter, it was light yellow, like the paper was made in the 40’s and was just now written on! It had a red circle in the middle that looked like a stamp, but also you could tell it was a red candle melted on top. The letter had a brown string across it, I felt like one of those princess receiving a letter saying I was declared Queen! When I opened the note the first word I saw was “ROYAL BALL” Was I being invited to a royal ball! Was this really happening!! We’re my friends pranking me… why would I out of everyone be invited to a royal ball. I opened the note further

“Your telling me a random person left a letter out of your door way?”

“How did they know your address?”
“Lewis stop! Your not talking me out of this. Your coming!”

Nobody would ever talk me out to this! I was ready for the best prom- Royal ball ever! I got my flowing red dress out, I would be the bloody Queen at this dance, and nobody would get in my way, end of discussion!
