As it’s a full moon tonight, I’ve recently been laid off, and we’re coming off celebrating the Fourth of July, I can think of no better confluence of events to celebrate this juicy, lunar energy and revel in my newly-gained freedom. It’s a most-delicious harmonic convergence.

And, I can think of no better material to bring with me than all the ridiculous memos, emails and evaluations I’ve saved for some reason, so I can burn them in the huge bonfire. What a cathartic way to release all the bureaucratic flotsam and jetsam of the past few years, amassed from working in such an obsessive-compulsive environment.

Thankfully, the Universe has released me from this treadmill and I am burning all the paper vestiges of this system to alchemize them back into the nothingness from which they came, to release them and their energy from my auric field, to liberate myself totally and completely from The Administrative System.

So, I bring a few boxes of paperwork to the drumming circle, which is thrumming with drums, tambourines and fire dancers. It is quite a sight tonight. The moon is luminous and its energetic pull on the ocean is dynamic. The waves are full and fierce. The raw energy is so visceral that you feel it as soon as you get out of your car, even before you feel the heat from the fire pits. Simon and I toss all the papers into the fire, as we dance and vibrate with the collective energy of the group. I feel all the stress of this now-former job begin to melt away.
