Chapter 5: Weekend Party at the Lone Wolf MC

I just got home from work and was tired. It was Friday and I was going to take a nap before going to the Impact. I drove into my driveway, I shut the door on my Kia Sportage, and walked onto the front porch. After walking into the house, I put my purse and backpack on a chair before I walked to the kitchen door and walked out back with Greta. I heard well hello there. What are you doing later? Want to come over and party with us. I turned and looked at the man who was talking to me and glared at him. No thank you. I have other plans for tonight. I walked back into the house with Greta before locking the door.

I made some coffee and carried my cup up the stairs to my bedroom where I placed the cup on the table by the bed. I walked into the bathroom and stripped throwing my clothes in the clothes hamper before jumping into the shower. I dried off and put on a shirt that reached my knees and walked over to the bed where I turned on the tv and drank the coffee while watching Law & Order. I set my alarm to go off at 9:00 pm. I planned on getting leave here and being at Jammers by 10: 00. I heard the beeping of my alarm and rolled over turning it off. I got up and put on jean’s boots, and a tee-shirt. I grabbed my money and license and put them in my back pocket. I grabbed a leather jacket and my car keys before walking out the front door. I turned on my porch light and locked the door.

As I walked to my car, I saw my brother and his president sitting on their bikes. I ignored them and got in putting my seat belt on. I started my Kia and backed out of my driveway. I drove down the road toward Jammers. When I arrived, I got out locked the door, and walked into the bar. I grabbed a beer before sitting at my usual table in the corner. Close to the dance floor but where I could see the door. I was drinking my beer when Donna, Hope, and Steve walked over and sat down. We were talking when Donna said. “I heard about what Viper said.” I looked at her and told her that he was a stupid bastard.

She laughed. I wish I could have been there and seen you giving him hell. I just bet that didn’t go over so well. I don’t care. He deserved what he got. We were talking when I saw Donna, and Hope looking over at the door. Well speaking of the devil, Hope said. I looked over and sure enough in walked Viper, his enforcer, Mark, and my brother. Well hell. There goes my good time. Not I said. I saw the woman trying to get their attention, but it didn’t work. I was talking to Steve when he said. They are looking over here.

I said don’t care if they stay away from me. I stood up and said, “I am going out to smoke a joint, I will be right back in.” I walked out the back door and pulled a joint out of my back pocket and lit it. I was leaning against the side of the building when I heard my brother talking to someone. I heard my name mentioned. Sorry, I pissed your sister off Travis. You should apologize to her not me. Not that she will accept it. You basically called her a whore. I know she is not a whore. No, she is not. Come on let’s go in. I waited until they were finished, I put the joint out which was quite small then put it in my mouth and chewed it.

I walked into the building and to the bar getting another beer. After paying for it. I turned and walked over to my table. I felt eyes on me and turned and saw Viper watching me. I gave him the finger and sat down in my chair. I pulled another chair over and sat my foot on it. I watched some girls dancing and drank my beer. Every now and then I talked to Donna and Hope. Where is Steve? He walked over to talk to Viper. We sat talking and laughing and then Hope asked. Would you go out with Viper, Lisa? Hell no. Not after what he said about me and Steve. He basically called me a fucking whore. He can kiss my ass. Besides, I don’t need a man. Or want one.
