Introduction chapter. :) "Eek!"
โRayne, do you mind helping me unpack that box over there?โ my mother asked, motioning her hand towards a box that rested on the counter opposite the one she was currently standing at.
โSure,โ I smiled, opening the large, brown box. Carefully I started to remove the occupants of the box, placing them all on the counter. โIs this all?โ I questioned, as I placed the last glass onto the counter.
โDo you mind putting them away?โ she asked, turning around with her hands on her hips, left eyebrow arched at me; giving me the "mom look," clearly letting me know that she was not asking me to put the dishes away, but more or less telling me to put them away.
I sighed, letting out a small laugh,โYes ma'am." Immediately, I started to place the dishes neatly in different cupboards. Afterwards, just to be nice, I offered to go to the store; not necessarily to be nice- it was actually because I was starving; starving to the point where I think i lost a few pounds from not eating all day, and I was growing tired of living off of pizza.
--
I went to the store, buying enough food to last us at least a month; if mom and I abandoned our pig-like appetites. I pulled my phone out, asking my mom if she could pick me up; there was no way that I'd be able to walk home, holding ALL of these groceries.

Mom wasn't in the kitchen when I got home, so I minded my business and put the groceries away, turning music on just to entertain myself.
--- 15 minutes after she had gotten home---
After putting the groceries away, I had gone up to my room to unpack. Iโm not gonna lie, this is one of the nicest houses I couldโve ever imagined myself living in.
(Feel free to picture her house however you'd like, Just so you can have an idea of what it supposedly looks like in my imagination; It's a beach-view house, two story, not counting the basement and it has an amazing ocean view. 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2 walk-in closets, 2 dining rooms, 3 living rooms, 2 large balconies, comes with furniture, including: couches, decor/decorations, curtains, carpets, beds, lamps, chandeliers, dressers/night-stands/vanities, bookshelves, blankets, pictures/tapestries, etc. Or more simply put, it's completely furnished.)
