The COVID Chronicles is a collection of short stories inspired by the 2020 pandemic. These stories talk about ghosts during quarantine, clandestine missions, and the drama of everyday battles, among others.

The short stories are standalone and independent of each other. You may read them in any order. Navigate through the stories quickly by checking out the Table of Contents at the bottom (for mobile) or right (for desktop).

This was written during the actual pandemic period as a passion project of the author. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I. An Eerie Spectator (Genre: Horror)

A student trapped alone in his apartment during the quarantine finds out he is actually not alone.

II. No Planes Left to Fly (Genre: Action/Suspense)

When their flight home gets cancelled due to the lockdown, two friends are forced to make a desperate and dangerous move.

III. Class of 2020 (Genre: Drama)

A tribute to the graduation that never was.

IV. Operation Doppelganger (Genre: Science Fiction)

In the year 3030, a new and virulent pandemic similar to COVID-19 once again drove mankind to near extinction. In a final attempt to save humanity, a group of volunteers agree to participate in a time-travel project which transports them to the past to find a cure.

V. Breaking Curfew (Genre: Thriller)

Two lovers breaking curfew to meet in secret run into a horrifying encounter which makes them wish they had never left home.
