An Opinion

Within the social constructs that we have created, status has become coveted above all else. We create our own valuation based off the biased judgements of those around us, creating our own fears from what they perceive as our imperfections. The idle opinion of another has become a standard by which we measure ourselves, no longer a reflection about the persona of the commenter, just of the subject. And as our perception becomes dictated by others, we begin to labour to rectify their opinion in a way not to strengthen ourselves, but simply alter their beliefs. If our own imperfections are the disease, then allowing ourselves to be influenced by the opinions of others can be likened to a treatment prescribed by a farmer. While both ignorance and arrogance are oftentimes false delusions of grandeur, the constant task of attempting to parallel oneself with the expectations of all others is a hapless trial undertaken by far too many. The fashion in which we present ourselves to society will always be our own to choose as is how much we allow exterior influences to alter it. The consideration to follow must then inevitably be an evaluation of yourself, and subsequently a discovery of whether you display your own beliefs or simply act as a puppet, strung by the expectations and opinions of all those around you.

An End

Inevitability... That one word probably most perfectly describes a life, the inevitability of birth, of death, and of life, even if for the shortest of times. Viewpoint changes a picture, and suddenly the dot is no more, and all that remains is a masterpiece, defined and textured and layered, portraying now far better, the human life...

An Emotion

Come to the realization that there are very few that really care. That your feelings and fears, hopes and dreams to most others are of the smallest of consequence. Our life; our friendships, are like a game of poker that everyone is happy to play for a little while, but very few are willing to go all in and then show their hand. There are not many that are prepared to put up with hell and shit, and still be there afterwards. The burdens of one shouldn’t always have to be borne by just that person themselves. The way we act though, the mindset has become that your dreams, hopes, fears, hates, compassion and sadness are “yours” for a reason. However, the ones that are there, beyond the customary period of “friendship” and the ones who listen, to rambling and ranting of all manners, those you should cling tightest to...

Populate the time between inevitabilities. Fill it with joy and bring closest to you those who make you happiest....
