The story of the play is a love one, between a Palestinian young man named Ahmed, and an Israeli young woman named Rabin. They fall deeply in love with each other. Their love remains strong and thriving, and is on track to be consummated with marriage, when Ahmed discovers that Rabin has had a past romantic affair with his American best friend whose name is Donovan. Ahmed gets very bitter. As if this is not enough, he catches Rabin in the act, kissing Donovan, at a time their wedding day is close. Ahmed carries on with his wedding plans, and also cooks up a plan to harm Donovan, who also is not a fool and senses Ahmed, must be up to something. Donovan gets busy and perfects his own plan too.
